I try so hard to not like Cassie, because I know that she just isn’t a talented girl. But she sucks me in every time with these sexy, synth ballads. Either her songs are extremely catchy, or just really sexy and “My House” is no different. Even though I dug “Official Girl,” they need to push out another single for Cassie – quick, fast and in a hurry. Her second album has been pushed back to the top of ’09, so they’ve got some time to hit the drawing board and restrategize.

Here’s a new track from Omarion. I have to admit, I’m a little disappointed. Omarion was dropped by his label, but newly signed a deal with the Mosley Music Group, which is Timbaland’s label. In all honesty, I jogged some interest for his third solo album, because I thought that Timbaland, Danja and The Neptunes (who Omarion has worked with previously as well) would churn out some heat for his new album. I just assumed that they would putting out some music with an edgier sound for him. This sounds like B2K.

Here’s another remix from Mariah for “I’ll Be Loving U Long Time,” featuring none other than LL Cool J, who is about to release his album, Exit 13. I actually dig this remix from Mariah. I like the change of the production. I wonder if they plan on servicing this to radio, considering I’ve already started to hear the remix to “Side Effects” with Busta Rhymes.

Is Chris Brown working on a new album already? I guess the success that he garnered with the new single, “Forever,” produced by Polow Da Don, for his release of Exclusive made him realize that he needed to go back into the studio with Polow Da Don. I actually dig this snippet a lot, but I’m wondering if this type of music will still be relevant by the time he’s ready to drop his third album. Chris just barely made it through the sophomore slump, so I wish him the best.

Chris Brown’s song is horrible, I am still trying to figure out why so many people seem to think that he can sing (Disturbia – there is not a whole lot poetic talent in his writing either). He can dance, but there are a lot of dancers out there who can do the same and more! I think that his little bit of talent will eventually fizzle out………But when you have PR people pushing your song to the point that people sing it because it is in there head whether they like it or not, that just goes to show the power of having the right people (and money) behind your project! Mariah is always on point despite all the haters who always want to write her off…….Cassie is a pretty face with no vocal talent whatsoever…….Omarion is on his way to fizzling out soon………

I have to admit it. I am jealous. Here I am busting my behind on stages in my town and killing myself to write material, praying and paying my dues…… getting nowhere, and this chick Cassie …. (whatever the rumors may be)…she’s got tracks. Well, at least i’ve got integrity. (Let me know when you can cash in on integrity). Until then, I’ll be on my grind. Good for her/keep it up/pretty works for her~ admittedly, I will not be buying it. Just not my cup of tea.

Chris Brown’s song captive is actually a song made for the PCD. If you listen carefully he says boy. Why would he say that for in his song? So I think it’s written for the PCD but he’s just singing the demo.
