Niecy Nash, who is best known for starring in the hit shows “Reno 911″ and “Clean House”, will now be getting her feet wet in the sitcom arena. Her new show, tentatively called “Do Not Disturb” (co-starring Jerry O’Connell) will premiere on Fox later on this year. Click here for more info.
CARMELO & HIS REALITY SHOW
Carmelo Anthony, who is currently over in China gearing up for the Summer Olympics, has joined the reality world. The All-Star forward of the Denver Nuggets has scored a reality show on BET J called “Carmelo’s Way.”
The show follows Melo for about four months during his offseason training as well as showing him participating in community events and walking around in his old neighborhood. Expect to see appearances from: LeBron James, Allen Iverson and other family and friends. Check out the show’s trailer above. Not sure when it airs, but it’s sometime this year.

Are you serious, does anyone still watch ANTM!!!….next..that show is so predictable, so corny, played, and wack all at the same time. The same thing happens every season….i wish tyra stop exploiting them girls just to further her own fame.
Bottom line is: This is the 11th season and the show has yet to produce a TOP MODEL, someone who is successful in all facets of modeling. Some have some success, but there has never been a true top model, the purpose of the show….
American idol has proven itself, cause they have turned out some top entertainers, Top Model, nope not once.

yes i agree the last best season of antm was the one with eva, toccara, and yaya. I don’t know what’s been going on lately, but the show is really starting to bore me. We must the minority of that opinion though cuz this is the 11th season and 5th year for the show to air so i guess she is doing something right.

So hilarious… It’s good to see her get a shot at her own show on FOX. That’s hot… I’ll be tuning in to support. It’s not too many Black women that get a chance to star in their own show. I agree with you JSCENE. They need to either change the name of the show or actually produce a top model. Not someone who landed a hair commerical or a role on a low bodget movie, or a Rip the Runway gig. It seems like all the show can produce is a tv personality, if that.

@#7—-becoming a TOP model takes time, & a show isnt just gonna make u all of a sudden a top model. they still have to work, & there’s still something fresh & new every season. whereas with shows like american idol, they’re singers, and the radio is something everyone listens to, so those people will become more successful & famous faster than models. modeling isnt in the spotlight like acting & music, that’s why those people become so called “successful” faster.
