I took this song as an ode to the true independent woman but its not. I know its a video, but see how far you go in the real corporate world wearing your back out in the office and kicking your heels up on the desk. I also thought this was the year of the gentleman. @ goldenlady thats’s not necessarily true. When I worked at Marc Jacobs, we dressed VERY fashionably. We could wear shorts skirts halter blouses and everything. As a matter of fact as long as it was his brand we could wear it no matter how outlandish. Now that I work in an investment firm things are ALOT different. But I still think the video is great, it shows that there is nothing wrong with being a smart woman and still keeping your sex appeal
