Well, for anyone that is familiar with how satellite feeds work, I can understand how she mistook the introduction given to her. All you hear is what’s coming in the ear piece, and if someone tells you you’re live, you think that what’s being said is on television. She thought that her introduction included the references to Jay-Z’s club.

I don’t think she handled it in the best way, but I can understand being upset. You go to promote something that you’ve worked hard on, and the first thing a reporter mentions (you think) is a story about someone else, more famous, but connected to you. She does need to learn how to play the game a little better…but I like a lil sass.

I think she handled it perfectly. Journalism is definitely at an all time low and it seems like anything goes when it comes to them trying to make a “good” story. Media has so much power in this day and age and they can turn something untrue and irrelevant into something that everyone believes and is on the front page of every outlet. I think celebrities should definitely start taking a stand and not let themselves be taken advantage of and maybe the media, or paparazzi or whoever will fall back a bit. I wouldn’t count on it though.

One thing that does annoy me though is when an artist says buy my “record”. A record is only one song. They need to say buy my “album” which means media that includes all the records. Just a pet peeve of mine. Later!

I really have to disagree with #10. When you become a celebrity you DO NOT give up your privacy. Your privacy is still “your privacy” no matter how much cheddar you got. 1). Why do celebs always complain about media harrassment, but they do anything they possibly can to stay on the front pages ? Do they know they can protect their privacy if they fall back into obscurity, stay away from high profile events, not get free designer items and accept the average mans working wages for the rest of their lives.

3). Alot of people are overshadowed by others but, what do you expect when you get in the same industry that your sister took by storm. Even Janet is still refered to as Micheal’s little sister. “Dont begrudge a family members success especially when it was instrumental to yours.”

4). Solange is not above being asked questions that she doesnt want to answer. I tell people on a daily basis to “get some business” but I am nice about it so that I dont lose my job. You cant take on the world. because you will lose everytime, and apologizing is not always the ‘low road”, especially when you chastised the wrong person. Peace.

I think Solange is trying her hardest not to BE BEyonce. A little too hard if you ask me. I enjoy her singles and it’s refreshing, but she needs to be careful not to get carried away. It will work against her.

I think that Solange came across very rude. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with sticking up for your family or not wanting to comment to a question being asked, but there is a more professional way to do it. Lol @ these responses….she wasnt classy @ all and i can well understand her irritation, but like u guys said, she could’ve handled it much better. A simple change of the subject back to her album or “no comment” would’ve worked wonders. But whatever, i was never that impressed w/her anyway.
