I’m sorry Mary did a horrible job on this track…Ciara may not have the strongest vocals but she does the song justice….In my opinion Mary is a little too old to be singing tracks like this and her voice sounds like shes struggling to keep up with the song.

everyone has a voice no matter how big or small and should use it to the best of their abilities cuz there is a song for them to sing. Ciara makes the song sound like she’s in love and really feels the guy is right there with her. It’s sexy. Mary has a good voice but no song can be for everyone now. I did listen before I commented. Ciara voice to me is just annoying. Ciara gets by because she is beautiful, has a pretty smile and she can dance her ass off ( and that works for her. I;m not knocking her hustle.) Tell the truth though most people focus more on what she is wearing and doing in her video then her actual singing ability. The question of who was better for this particular song was asked and answered when Mary put it down and Ciara picked it up. In music it’s imperative that performers play to their strengths. Anita Baker would be no more at home singing a Beyonce diddy, than Ciara would be singing a Patti Labelle song. Everyone is equipped with their own gift and every lid was not made for every pot. However, being a booty popping, wealthy, hypersexualized femme fatale, does not a talented singer make. Some of ya’ll are too young or naive to separate the good shit from the fake shit.
