As you all know, Concrete Loop has fans all across the world. CL visitor Vlad (from Sweden) sent over his exclusive photos of Lil Kim in Sweden earlier this week. Check out what he said:
I went to the concert she performed at and is getting bad press about due to her stomach looking odd in the pictures as well as the after party. Now, I don’t know her that well or have ever cared for her until I met her this weekend BUT I must say my views changed seeing her in front of my face. I believe Kim is one of those few artists who truly look completely different in real life(and in a VERY GOOD way I mean). She was actually very small and petite and beautiful in person.
I was able to get close enough to meet her and snap a few pics throughout the night. She was so nice she let me stay around and was not bothered by me at all. She just danced the night away with her team/friends and Kelis.
Anyways, I just wanted to share my experience with the “Queen Bee”. I saw people were being so critical about her and from my first hand account I can tell you she was gorgeous, sweet, and very giving.

This whole thing is a little fishy to me. First of all, i’ve around numerous artists and i have not seen a case in which a fan is allowed to hang out/ dance/ and take pictures of artists. I personally think this might be damage control for all the bad press kim has been getting. Concrete loop has gotten pretty huge now, so Angela & team, you guys should be a bit more careful on the “fan” information you receive. Be Smart!!!

This is a prime example that the media can/will definitely distort in order to serve their “personal” agendas. Upon meeting Lil Kim personally this individual had a totally different view. We shouldn`t be so naive. The media/mainstream has the ability to sway public opinion with the power of the pen. Some times due to their own bias/hatred/insecurities they set out upon a mission of character assassination of individuals they deem unworthy.
How hypocritical of them. However, their plan/agenda can only succeed if we fall prey to their often times vicious and hateful venom and lies. This happens often with a lot of celebs. MJ comes to mind right off hand. Some whom we would label as real, hard brothas have stated that during their encounters with MJ that he`s a really cool brotha. So a lot of times the “mainstream” media does indeed give false impressions.
Speaking from a male point of view I still find Lil Kim to be extremely “sexy” and “fine”. I won`t be led around like a dog on a leash by the “mainstream” media; PERIOD…

@7 I can’t speak for anyone else but for myself. My perception of Kim is based soley on the pictures that are posted, not what the media writes. In a lot of the pictures she does look weird, like I said it could be that she’s not photogenic, but like the proverbial saying pictures are worth a thousand words. When CL posts pictures of her they’re never accompanied with hateful venomous lies. I think your comments were intended for a that other blog mediafakeout. People here judge her based on a picture, not what anyone is writing.

I mean… pictures and videos sometimes dont do people any justuce. It makes you look bigger, smaller, uglier, prettier or whatever than you really are. For some people sometimes that is. One thing that pictures do for a lot of people is make u look bigger. Really. People with me always say I look bigger in pictures than I really am. I love Lil Kim. She seems like a great person and seems like she would be a great friend to have. I love her style (most of the time). I just think it’s her make-up artisit and the person that does her eyebrows that’s wack and they need to be fired forever!
I know several people that have met Kim and she really is cool. I know someone that was locked up with her in Penn. It was a mixed jail. They said she rapped a song to him through the toilet system. I know it’s hood, but this is the way they communicate with each other.

thats is so true, television is an illusion when i saw beyonce and toni braxton in person, they were slim, on tv they appear to be thick, cameras, poloroids can make you look dark and you not, it just depends on the angle , lightening etc.

I saw Kim in person at a party in Charlotte, NC and she was gorgeous!! Me and my friends were amazed. But she does look totally different in person.
