When Life & Style Magazine caught up with Angela Simmons at the Pamella Roland fashion show in NYC last week, the star of MTV’s Run’s House dished about her recent weight loss. Angela, 21, has been hitting the gym with sister Vanessa, 25.
“We’re definitely working out,” Angela tells Life & Style. “I haven’t missed more than three days in a row. When we’re home, I try to exercise every day. I do lots of squats and lunges. I didn’t notice I was losing weight until my trainer told me I’d lost 15 pounds.”
“Now I’m sculpting,” she says. “Soon I’ll have muscles!”
Angela is now dividing her time between finishing her debut R&B album and working on Pastry, the clothing and accessories brand she designs with big sis Vanessa.
She looks Great!

She didn’t look bad before, but you can tell she lost weight. There’s nothing wrong with a little exercise, now her singing..thats another issue. I’m not a fan of animal print but her outfit in the second pic is hot.
I think she looked better before. Now her head looks too big for her body.
I have nothing against a little toning but I don’t think her weightloss is really that big a deal. She wasn’t that big to begin with. Her first pic hardly makes out she was at risk of diabetes and high blood pressure. I think her hair and makeup were more unflattering than anything to do with her weight. Personally I would’ve preferred it if this story was more about her being able to run 3 miles without breaking a sweat or something… fitness is more important than weight loss that wasn’t really needed.

That’s great that she’s working out. Skinny or fat, exercise is important for all of us! It’s about your health! Has Angela discussed or admitted to her nose job yet? I think these girls are great positive role models but the fact that she felt she needed to do that shows she really is trying to blend in with the Hollyweird crowd

She sounded worst then Cassie and we all know that she gets naked to sell records. come one the bikini shoots and skirts as dresses still will not help you sell more trash but may get you on TRL or BET video shows.
She never looked big to me before, she just wasn’t as thin as her sis because she’s shorter so I think she felt intimidated. She looks okay now, but any smaller she’s gonna look funny. Getting in shape is not only about losing weight, but building endurance. Her face looks a bit smaller, but I can’t tell the difference besides makeup.
oh so she lost weight. I noticed she was looking even nicer than she did before, but I put that down to her dress sense improving

She looks good in both pics but if she feels better then that is what counts! I’m glad she is working out though it’s disciplined activity and with her crazy schedule she still finds time that is awesome to better your overall health! No muffin top for Angela!
Weight loss changes your facial features as well she didn’t have a nose job…. lol.. her nose looks the same just lost weight as well..lol..

*******AWWW hell, I really hope she doesn’t start obsessing over weight!!! She looked great b4 and quite frankly, 15lbs is excessive. It’s more than 10% of her body weight. No doubt we all should strive to b healthy and fit but let’s not start buying into that hollywood sick fixation with being thin that has people commenting in the media on how good someone looks and their ribs are jutting through their skin.

I still think she’s a very cute girl and whatever doctor she used did a good job–her nose wasn’t bad to begin with. With Angela’s weight issues and obviously not thinking she’s pretty enough(chop off her nose) I hope she is changing her insides as well–I have several of my girlfriends who have had nose jobs recently and I think it is a form of self hate. I know I have a little nose so maybe I shouldn’t judge but both my girls are mothers and both of their kids have their “old” noses so to me you’re sending a messed up message– IMO

Angela looks fine but I think she will lose much more weight. The Culture in Hollywood is skinny and she is not quite there yet but I’m sure she soon will be.
When I look at both girls it’s kind of sad. They are totally D list which is the new A list in Hollywood. People famous for doing nothing and this is why she is LOST.
Dating Bow Wow is bad enough but trying to look like Nicole Richie is not a goal to have but hey look at her parents. They are not exactly smart people or good role models this is why Angela thinks she needs to lose weight….sad sad sad…..

I hope I don’t sound mean-but Angela looks like a fish to me and Vanessa has a peculiar look about her too…but it’s my own opinion and I own what I said…
There wasn’t anything wrong with her before, I think she just needed a new hairdo and woredrobe. I think she intentionally lost weight because I remember that episode of Run’s House when she said she needed to lose 20 pounds. Either way I hope she’s doing it the healthy way.
you know how hollyweird is. You gain 10lbs on camera so celebs take off 20lbs to look hollywood “norm”. If they didn’t, and CL posted their pics there would be quite a few of you saying they are getting too “thick” (ahem, Ashanti..who looks great IMO). Whatever pleases them *shrugs*. I just hope my young, black, non-celebrity, women don’t feed too much into being walking skeletons. As we know in real life most men will knock over the bones to get to the sisters with some thickness to them. And people, there is a diff between being thick and fat.
