T.I and Rihanna perform “Live Your Life” at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, which took place last night in California. Other performers included Lil Wayne with T-Pain, Kanye West, and Rihanna performing her new hit “Disturba”.

It’s great to see Britney back on the scene merely because she was in a difficult time, which everyone goes through in different. Getting back on track is where the real recognition comes in.
Rihanna looks flawless in both of her performances. Her work out routine is on point with whoever trains her.
Keri Hilson is rocking that dress hard and she looks great in it. Who ever trains her is awesome too and her body is one of the best petite bodies out right now.

I was Rooting for Britney last night. I have always been a fan of her and her music and its nice to see her trying to get her self together.I really think she suffered from stage of Post Pardum Depression and no one was doing anything to help her. She looked really good last night

The VMAS Set up was tight, I saw TI’s performance and TI and Rhianna’s performance of Live Your Life, her look was tight with the mohawk hair, and I saw Pink’s performance she was good as usual, everyone looks good, except Christina Aguilera kinda looks like Cruella Deville, in her picture, and the cast of The Real World look like real lames in this picture.

—Isn’t it ironic how Toccara is wearing a t-shirt that says “big is fab…” Even though she is half of what she used to weigh when she initially became famous…food for thought.
—I liked T.I and Rihanna’s performance, mainly because of the song. Her solo performance on the other hand was bad. The visuals were great and Iiked the costume, but she was straining to sing, she was flat and pitchy.
—Lil Wayne’s image is slowly changing. He’s rocking skinny jeans, a peirced lip, and a fedora.

The awards overall sucked major. It was turning into the kids choice awards with people like Miley Cyrus and Jonas Brothas. MTV is targeting pre-teens but the content of the show was entirely too adult for youngsters. What is this world coming to?

I liked Rihanna and TI’s performance. I am surprised that Britney won video of the year. That wasn’t a great video it was just regular. I liked Christina Augerilla and Pink’s performances. Wow who told T-Pain to ride in on that elephant Lol. The Pussycat Dolls looked nice.
I only watched about 2 hours of the VMA’s on and off. I thought the whole Britney skit was stupid. I was really expecting some type of performance from her, *shrugs*.
Rihanna looked hawt during her performance. But the performance was not HAWT. It left me feeling bored, her vocals were horrible, couldn’t understand a word she sang, and the background dancers were soo mediocre.
T.I’s performance was soo freakin HAWT! I love me some T.I!!! Rihanna did her thang w/ the “Live your life” song.
I hated Christina A’s song/performance. I think she got a little caught up in the whole “Superhero Genre” wasn’t feeling the song @ all.
I missed Kanye’s performance. The VMA’s this year was wack! They could have done much better than this!
@16 Jordan Sparks was right for her comment. I commend her, and I commend the Jonas Brothers. If you didnt’t notice MTVs audience is getting younger and younger. You need artist like that to keep a balance with all the graphic music and images being hurled at them.

Britney Spears looked great, but I felt like they were just GIVING her awards that she didn’t necissarily deserve. Also, her act looks cleaned up but she seemed like she was TRYING 2 the old Britney. For some reason it didn’t come across natural.
