The awards overall sucked major. It was turning into the kids choice awards with people like Miley Cyrus and Jonas Brothas. MTV is targeting pre-teens but the content of the show was entirely too adult for youngsters. What is this world coming to?

I liked Rihanna and TI’s performance. I am surprised that Britney won video of the year. That wasn’t a great video it was just regular. I liked Christina Augerilla and Pink’s performances. Wow who told T-Pain to ride in on that elephant Lol. The Pussycat Dolls looked nice.

I only watched about 2 hours of the VMA’s on and off. I thought the whole Britney skit was stupid. I was really expecting some type of performance from her, *shrugs*.

Rihanna looked hawt during her performance. But the performance was not HAWT. It left me feeling bored, her vocals were horrible, couldn’t understand a word she sang, and the background dancers were soo mediocre.

T.I’s performance was soo freakin HAWT! I love me some T.I!!! Rihanna did her thang w/ the “Live your life” song.

I hated Christina A’s song/performance. I think she got a little caught up in the whole “Superhero Genre” wasn’t feeling the song @ all.

I missed Kanye’s performance. The VMA’s this year was wack! They could have done much better than this!

I didn’t like Kanye’s performance. It sounded like he kept singing the same thing over and over again.

I was dissapointed in the Lil’ Wayne performance. He was talking about how he was gonna “kill it” but at the end of the performance I was like “KILL YO SELF”…coming out there with his pants off his ass and holding his crotch like Lorenna Bobbitt was in the room, smh…

The awards weren’t all that impressive this year to me. Performances that stood out to me were:

Rhianna’s Disturbia & Ti’s performance as well as his duet with Rhianna. Very nice. I loved the big pic of the two in the back. Hot!

I liked the way TI & T-payne got the crowd hyped up and Pink’s performance was great. She looked fab & her vocals were on point.

Congrats on Brittney Spears. She looked amazing. I hope her next record blows all the way up when it drops. Good for her!

All in all the show was kind of boring. Where were all the surprises at? The crazy MTV awards stuff that happens? T-payne coming in on the elephant was dope, but there really wasn’t nothing else.

Kerri Hilson, Christina Aguilera, Danity Kane, among some of the worst looking of the evening. TPain comes in first though.

I actually thought that this was the most organized VMA awards ever! Usually, the VMAS are a mess, too long, and just plain stupid. The show was a little boring, but thank goodness they cut all of the extra crap out and just right to the point with the performances and winners.

I can’t lie, Britney does looks great. She looks like she never went through any drama. With that said, she looked the same like she did in the past and it’s boring now. Plus, she only got the pity votes for those wins. She did not deserve video of the year. She’s not gonna make a big comeback. I can’t wait until she finally releases her last album so people can stop hyping her up.

Rihanna looked a hot mess! I can’t believe she cut her hair even shorter! Her entrance was HORRIBLE! People were just fooled by the dramatic lights and costumes. Her voice sounded like a dying cat. Seriously! Plus, she looked akward onstage.

I didn’t care for Lil wayne’s performance. How the hell did he get Leona Lewis to perform on one of his songs.

They used her tirelessly to promote it-they had NO choice but to honor my girl with all those awards. Mtv finally conceded that their award show is basically nothing without Britney. T.I. was one of the only people that did not seem to be battling a fit of nerves last night. He was so smooth and sexy. I think this current album of his is going to be a huge hit.

Russell Brand, imo, was one of the best hosts ever. Yeah, I said it. I was on his team as soon as showed his allegiance to Obama. He shamelessly dogged the Republicans. That Brit has quite a pair on him…if you know what I mean.

Xtina is hands down one of the best vocalists in the industry, so…why did she come out looking like the gost of Britney past? She stole Brit’s whole “Toxic” performance! Teh black catsuit, cape and even the lip syncing. What the hell was she thinking? Hers was a worse crime aganist Britney than Beyonce’s “Ring the Alarm” performance, and Mariah’s New Year’s performance. All of those ladies are trendously talented, but I think they should have to cut Britney a cut of their album profits if they’re going to use her past performances to ignite sales.
