I just watched SITC movie on DVD this weekend and I loved alot of the clothes they wore.

If Rihanna’s clothing line is good than yeah I’ll go out and buy it. But just because a celebrity dresses well in real life doesnt mean that their clothing line is going to be exceptional (ie. Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce..even though I’m not too fond of some of the things Tina puts her in)..But then there are celebrities whos clothing line turns out to be just as good such as Gwen Stefani and her L.A.M.B. clothing line which costs more, but looks good

Wearing and Designing is too different things and with riri some things are better left on her than by her…

Her music is a prime example of that….

She is for show and nothing else….No one is running buying what she wears in other designers clothes so for her own line it will be another flop just like her basically slow selling CD.

Today it’s not about MUSIC. Rihanna’s one fantastic CD was build around a single great song and now what do we talk about most with Rihanna? What she wears….not the quality of the music but how she looks. The “transformation” of Rihanna was in less than two years when Jay Z and others decided to market her like Beyonce. I do agree that Rihanna had a different style in the beginning. Her Caribbean Cd was not bad but people could not really get into her because she did not have the right commercial image.
An image that is given to her by an army of stylist. A few of whom I know. Rihanna does not dress herself….she does not have STYLE. We saw her true style when she first came out…. Now a company will sell clothes to people who have to look like a celeb rather than discover their own style.
This is why we have Sean John, Rockawear, House of Dereon and all of these different celebrity lines that are sold at Macy’s LOL.
When are people going to wise up and say enough.
I’m going to be very interested to see Rihanna’s next CD and what that does…..I rather hear her than see her looking upset overdressed all over the place 24-7. These are marketed images.

If you read my comment you would have seen that I was giving Rihanna a lot of credit as far as being an artist. What happens is that a lot of these artists become products and marketing tools and that is what I’m getting tired of. And reading some of the other comments I’m not alone. And even if I were alone I’m man enough to stand by my views as well as respect others.

Kanye and Marc you two are total FANS and you take whatever is placed in front of you and that is your choice. I think Rihanna is very attractive that does not mean however that I need to see a million pictures of her at KFC over dressed and looking bored.

And I don’t think people want to see another BS Celebrity line of clothes that does not even reflect the real Rihanna. I look for authenticity in people and in celebrities.

I totally agree with you…My cousin and 1 of my good friends are in the music industry, they’re singers and they will change everything about you that they don’t like(from your skin shade, to your teeth)…People don’t know how to seperate the glitz and glamour from reality, the reality is THESE PPL ARE MADE TO ACT, LOOK AND BE A CERTAIN WAY…Rihanna is not a-la-natural her whole image is made up, and if your blind then just take a peek @ the start of her career…All the clothes people think she has it’s called PRODUCT PLACEMENT, Rihanna borrows an outfit(or an item) to wear out and the millions of females trying to look like her runs to the store to purchase it…But I hope nobody is counting on her line looking like what she wears cause that’s surely not going to happen, JUST LOOK @ HER CHEESY H&M SHIRT(that was a sneek peek)
