Janet Jackson, who has been getting rave reviews on her Rock Witchu tour was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical treatment “due to illness.”
After she “got suddenly ill during the sound check” of her concert in Montreal Monday, the singer was rushed to a local hospital, according to W&W Public Relations.
Jackson, 42, is being monitored at the hospital and hopes to reschedule the show. [SOURCE]
When asked for further explanation about the incident, Michal Wielgus, a publicist for Gillett Entertainment Group says that the incident is reported at the last minute just before the show time.
“We’re not entirely sure (what happened),” Michal explains. “We don’t have all the details. We just found out 20 minutes ago.”
Janet’s Rock Witchu tour includes a demanding 38-song set list and more than a handful of costume changes. The tour started to roll on September 10 in Vancouver, British Columbia and now there are at least thirteen remaining dates for the roadshow, including the postponed gig, which also has refunds available.
Last Friday, Jackson aslo canceled the weekend Detroit stop of her road show due to “production constraints.”
BEYONCE TO PERFORM AT MTV EUROPE AWARDS
It has been revealed that Beyonce will take the stage at this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards, which takes place November 6th in Liverpool’s Echo Arena. Fans hoped that Beyonce would debut her new singles at Fashion Rocks this year, but it looks like they’ll just have to wait until now.
It hasn’t been confirmed, yet, whether Beyonce will be performing “If I Were A Boy,” or The Dream and Tricky Stewart-produced “Single Ladies,” but I’m sure that Beyonce has a production in store for us. Her new album, which still remains untitled, is slated for release on November 18th and there are a flurry of rumors as to who Beyonce has worked with on the album, although confirmed are Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, as well as Sean Garrett.
The new singles were supposed to impact radio October 7th, but Michelle’s third LP, Unexpected releases the same day.

Umm…Last time I checked, Britney’s single has already been released, and Beyonce’s singles are not being pushed back. It is a rumor, and the two songs will be released as planned Oct. 7.
Singles being released to radio should not affect the sale of an album.

Why is so many people hating on Janet. Staing she is old, she need to sit down, etc.
Janet is better than all the artist her age and all the younger artist trying to come after her. She looks younger than Bee, Brit, Christina, Madonna, Jlo, Cee, Rhanna, and any other name can be added to the list. It’s a disgrace the way Black People
is helping white and blacks hate on Janet Jackson. The woman is pure talent. Why do she have to stop doing what she do best, just because Bee and the rest wants
her place. If they have any real talent, then they would not need to hate or try and get rid of Janet. Come on black people, Janet is one of us too!
