Ciara poses nude for the October 2008 issue of Vibe magazine. The issue not only includes a nude cover, but a nude spread inside as well…looks like the singer is baring all with the upcoming album she has in store for us.
In related news, Vibe magazine has been catching blows after Robin Thicke let out to Billboard magazine that Vibe told him “they don’t have white artists on the cover”, in response to why he couldn’t get the cover of this issue. They must have forgotten to mention that they rather put out Ciara naked, but they also released a statement responding to him.

Ciara’s career is over. That’s only time a celeb will out the but cheeks. She’s just trying to stir up some talk about her upcoming album which with all the leaks so far, doesn’t seem that impressive. As for Robin Thicke, people only thought that it was magazines like Vogue that were just racist, guess again. I’m not even surprised. Black people are always saying that white people do wrong but yet they refuse to lead by example. It’s all really pitiful to me, hell I don’t even read Vibe magazine and I never will.

I saw this on another site, but I admit that I’m a bit disappointed. I never thought she’d go this far to stay relevant. And I don’t know what Vibe was going by, but Ciara isn’t the sexiest singer alive, by far. She’s pretty, we can’t deny that, but sexy she is not.

And yes I know Rihanna posed nude on the cover of FHM, but Rihanna already showed that she uses sex to keep her name relevant (i.e. all her overly sexy concert outfits). So I expect ish like this from Rihanna, not Ciara. I always thought of her as a more classy type. But oh well….if she wants to keep up with “the times” then more power to her.

I like CiCi, and I am a subscriber to Vibe. I thinks what she is trying to do is reinvent her image (a la Bee, Rhi Rhi) but instead of going solo, or rockin a cute new haircut, she is exposing herself to show that she is past and older than the “goodies” days. I hope she does well, and I look forward to reading the issue.

That’s not artistic expression, that’s her trying to keep her name out there b/c her music isn’t enough. I think it’s sad. I’ve always thought that it was bad that these girls feel like they have to show their asses to keep their names out there but going nude is so desperate. she should have just done playboy and gotten it over with….

@ 47…I wasn’t saying anything was wrong with Rih’s FHM nude cover. I atually thinks it was more tastefully done than this one. I liked the effects (the umbrella covering her boobs, and then the other cover where they did the “water effect” to censor the nudity). But like I said, I expect that kind of “sexy” stuff from Rihanna…not Ciara.
