MOVIE PREMIERES: “THE SECRET LIFE OF BEES” IN TORONTO

Actors Dakota Fanning, Sophie Okonedo, Tristan Wilds, director Gina Prince-Bythewood, actor/singer Alicia Keys and actress Queen Latifah pose together at the 2008 Toronto Film Festival’s premiere of “The Secret Life Of Bees”. The film stars Alicia, Queen Latifah, and Sophie Okonedo as sisters - as well Jennifer Hudson, Nate Parker and Tristian Wilds.
The film will hit theaters on October 17th and was directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, who also directed “Love & Basketball”.

The ladies are working it! I love love Alicia in the purple that dress is gorgeous. Queen looks great as usual but I do not love the hair cut. I am looking forward to this movie I read two reviews and they have been great even talk of Sophie getting award nods and they have both given my girl Alicia big kudos on her acting. I love how she has picked diverse roles.

Nah, I’m just playing. Yeah, Alicia gets tans a lot, so yeah, everytime we see her, that chick does get darker and darker.
I mean, there is nothing wrong with brown/dark skin, but on naturally light skinned people, it looks kind of strange, especially if it’s the type of dark shade that Alicia keeps trying to transform her fair self into.
She reminds me of that old lady from “There’s Something About Mary.” LOL!!!!!
Watch, pretty soon we won’t be able to tell the difference between Alicia and Akon.
