LMAO
I can tell one thing from this trailer….That Will Smith is a Scientologist…100%
These types of roles are just beyond silly and this trailer is good in that when I watch it I’m 100% certain that I will not waste my time going to see this type of movie in the Fall.
When Will tries to act seriously I just laugh hard. Will is like Jennifer Aniston….not matter what the role is she will always be Jennifer Aniston. Just like Will Smith is always Will Smith you never forget that.
He can’t really make any character where you don’t see Will. It’s called acting.
Will is no Morgan Freeman…..but if Morgan did this type of movie I would not see it either.

Is Will the only Black actor in Hollywood that can play the role of an emotional man that changes people’s lives? It’d be nice to see Hollywood try to recognize an unknown for a change. No hate Will but you bore me.

Ok I hate to bring up the race issue. But I read that black females are having problems getting roles in movies as leading ladies and parts period. Here is another example of the leading lady love interest being hispanic. That is the in thing these days. Last movie his woman was Charlise Theron now Rosario Dawson. Denzel keeps getting Eva Mendez and Will with Sanaa Lathan someday soon. I’m fine with interracial love and all but I think there is some truth to the black couple and family being destroyed in/by media.

that comment was meant to include I want to see Sanna Lathan and Will Smith as costars as well as Denzel and Angela Basset. Malcolm X didn’t show me enough of what those 2 can do together.

@ 24
If they cast a black actor w/ a black actress, then it becomes a “black film” and most Hollywood execs don’t wanna invest in “black films” unless we’re being exploited, like “Friday” or any othe coontastic film you could think of.

Rosario dawson is black, her mums afro-latino and she definately looks black. I do so “oh reals” point though, black actress never get the chance and its soo unfair. Paula Patton could have played Will’s love interest in Hitch, but Eva did instead! Paula had a mini part instead.
Either way i looove will and i love micheal ealy so i will see the film if it comes out in the UK

I am tired of will doing movies with women who aren’t (totally) black.
i hate when he shaves his facial hair…that usually means wack.movie. (hancock)
i see where he’s going with all this…but it’s a little bit much.
but it’s just the trailer maybe i’ll still see it.

Goodness gracious, some folks will NEVER be satisfied!!! neva mind Rosario Dawson has african descent.Even if Paula patton was casted as the female, some folks will still be complaining about her being lightskinned. Barrel of the crab much! Anyways I will be checking this out,and congrats to Will Smith for being the most powerful actor on the planet(according to Newsweek)

The first time I heard Will Smith has a movie coming was from Yahoo; however, Yahoo did not provide a trailer at the time. What got me into wanting more, about this Will Smith next picture, was the possibility that he may lose his winning streat, of at least $100K, at the box office.
I have to say now, after I finally saw the trailer, when I went to the movies this past weekend to see Max Payne, I have no doubt that Will Smith will deliver.
A few pointers:
1. Will Smith lost a lot of weigth to fit for this picture
2. Who doesn’t look good crying and running in the Rain.
3. Will is walking out of the Ocean only with short pants.
4. His living in a house, I think, surround by roses.
5. As far as Will Smith emotionally, that will be “The Persuit of Happyness” on Steroids!
Finally, to have been an American Dream from Persuit of Happyness; to became a Human Legend in I Am Legend; follow by Super Human abilities dated back thousands of years to protect Human Kind, and now his Depressed and seeking redemption; I like to see the transitional picture of that.
But then again, it is Big Willy!

Give the man credit where it’s due. This movie has all the makings of being a hit. An absolutely SOLID cast, a fairly underused plot and nice timing. I’m looking forward to seeing and buying it.
