Travis is the shit. I was so in shock when I saw this on CNN. Out of the 6 people in the crash, they are the only two that survived. I hope they come out ok, but I heard it wasn’t looking good.

I met DJ AM backstage at a Santogold set back in July, very cool dude. Never met Travis, but was always a fan. I heard his best friend/assistant died in the crash. My prayers go out to them and those who lost their lives.

This is just terrible! I hope they both pull through. My prayers are with them.

–They have the media feed of the reporters on scene with the plane debris.

The site says the 2 survivors were seen running around on fire trying to extinguish themselves.

Sad. But they were at least conscious at that time and had enough strength to help themselves until help arrived. That speaks to their strength and the grace of the almighty.

They performed at the T mobile store opening right down the street from me in Columbia South Carolina…..They also had Steve Aoki playing too (he is the brother of the Japanese girl from Sin City). A lot of my friends went to the festival last night. My god, you can’t see these things coming.

Of all 6 people, the two celebs were spared (for now). I hope they know how blessed they are to be able to see/meet their loved ones if God does chose to take them home.

Man, I like Travis Barker….They just said on the news that DJ AM has burns all over his face and the top half of his body and just left the surgery and is in critical condition. They said Travis has burns from his waste down and is in critical but stable condition. I pray for them both and for those that have lost their lives, because this is sad as hell.

i guess i’m the only one thinking about the other four that were inside dying while these two ran around trying to save themselves. i mean, that’s how it sounds at least. i can’t say how i would react in such a situation. i hope i never have to find out.

Anywho, I’m from Augusta, GA (where the burn center is) and the ppl there are truly a godsend..I know a couple of former classmates who did clinicals there. They work so many miracles on extreme second and/or third-degree burn cases..I’m sure (and praying) that the two of them will have a speedy recovery and R.I.P. to those who lives were lost…

Celebs (or anyone for that matter who is traveling with any luggage or excessive weight besides themselves) do need to stay away from them super small planes though..

I love Travis (who is also a daddy, so for the sake of his children, I hope he can pull through)–and I hope that both men are able to make full recoveries. Their lives have definitely just been changed.

Its just so sad. As soon as I read this, I had a flashback to Aaliyah. I will definitely keep the in my prayers and to the families that have lost a loved one; everyone was so young. I hope they are able to make it through this.

@nat you have to remember that they were on fire at the time. a witness said he saw them on fire and they were trying to extinguish it. if you’re on fire, you’re not going to think about other ppl. plus they jumped out of the plane so they weren’t completely conscious i’m sure
