Check out this new track from D.O.E. featuring Keri Hilson. If you don’t remember who D.O.E. is, he appeared on Timbaland’s “The Way I Are,” which also features Keri. D.O.E. is a signee on Timbaland’s Mosley Music Group imprint, and has been down with them for a while, so it’s interesting to see that he just now has music coming out.
“Coming Down” is produced by none other than Timbaland’s protege, Nate “Danjahandz” Hills. I really dig the pop sound of the track, but with rapping over it. It just feels different than any other “rap” out there, especially with D.O.E. sing-rapping on the hook.

I can see glasses becoming a huge trend this season (and not just because of Sarah Palin). With vintage frames already back in full swing, celebrities are realizing that glasses can be just as stylish as perceived geeky. Recently folks like Kanye West, Rihanna, Pharrell, and Erykah Badu have been casually rocking funky/vintage clear lens.
I’ve always loved to wear glasses myself - not because I had to, but because they also serve as great accessory for the face and there a millions of options to just from. Just check out a few cool frames I found right online…

It’s been reported that fan favorite Keyshia Cole is back in the studio, recording material for her third studio album, the follow-up to the hugely successful Just Like You. The working title for the third album is rumored to be Love, which was also the title from a huge single from Keyshia’s first album, The Way It Is.
Love is slated to release sometime at the end of this year, and will contain productions from Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins and some tracks written by Sean “The Pen” Garrett. I’m eager to see what kind of work they come up, considering that Rodney produced Keyshia’s second single from her last album, “Shoulda Let You Go.”
Keyshia has really solidified herself in the industry right now with the last album, so it should be interesting to see what comes of this third project. In the meantime, Keyshia is working on a movie about her life.

Troy Anthony Davis said he was “thankful to God” after learning that his execution had been stayed when he saw it on television.
The U.S. Supreme Court granted a last-minute reprieve to the 39-year-old less than two hours before he was to be executed for the 1989 slaying of Mark MacPhail, an off-duty Savannah, Georgia, police officer.
Seven of the nine witnesses who initially testified that Davis was the killer had recanted. There was no physical evidence presented at his trial, and no weapon was found. But Davis’ petitions for a new trial had been denied. The U.S. Supreme Court was the last option for Davis to have his execution postponed.
