Obama/ Biden 08…people don’t get fooled, especially the swing voters. Sarah Palin was put in this race merely to get the women swing voters and to take the spotlight off of McCain and the fact that he’s a split image of Bush.

It’s just so disturbing to me still that McCain chose Palin as his running mate. She talks all this shit about not being in it for the celebrity yet she’s on the cover of ever flipping mag…and not only that, but she’s subjecting her daughter to all this media frenzy during this difficult time. She is a selfish bitch with her own agenda… On the other hand, Obama didn’t embrace celebrity, celebrity came to him— he has a definite appeal to the younger crowd… if they THINK Palin stands a chance (because she’s a good looking woman) in this day and age with her archaic views, the republicans are more stupid than i thought!

@8 I saw the pics of her in the bikini. She’s earing a US flag themed bikini and she’s holing some sort of rifle. In the pic I saw there was no miniskirt just a bikini. The pics looked authentic to me.
@ Poetic Blue, you were right the first time its definitely Plain.

People, the photos are FAKE!!! They’ve already shown the original picture was taken of a slightly younger blonde woman. Her face was digitally transposed on the image. But really, let’s stay focused on the issues and not on who’s wearing a bikini. I’m voting OBAMA 08 enough said.

I can’t believe he has taken the lead either. I pray that Obama wins but now I’m not so sure, McCain knew what he was doing by picking a woman. And even though a lot of people don’t support McCain, they wouldn’t dare vote for a black man and that in itself is helping his campaign.

Well I’m glad to see the polls turn around. Did you guys see that the McCain speak was the highest rated TV Event this year, and the highest rated speak to date. You guys got to understand that we where waiting on him to chose someone like Palin. May the best man for the people win, but I’m voting for McCain. I just wish we didnt have to fall back on calling people names to get our point across. Right now the bulk of the American people are feeling McCain.

Obama needs to get over the nice shit, and get down and dirty. The rightwingers are wiping the floor with his ass. They always compliment the Repugs, and then make their statement. This has got to stop, or McBush is a shoe-in.
Sarah Palin left the city of Wasila $25 million in debt, she lied about selling the Alaska on ebay “at a profit (she took a loss), she supported the “Bridge to Nowhere,” but when that became a political liablitity, she turned against it. Yet she kept $250 million anyway.
Obama needs to get off of his sophistcated ass, and play like he learned to play in Chicago politics. Most people (regardeless of color) read and comprehend at an 8th grade level. He speaks with too much nuance. He keeps it up, he’ll lose.

People can ‘feel’ McCain all they want, If people have a job now, I don’t think they will have it by the end of the year. If you can’t afford to make morgage payments now, to bad. If you vote for McCain- you deserve exactly what you get. I am trying to save as much as possible because, it’s not looking good. I have an extra passport- to a different country- just in case…

People were foreseeing this race as a done deal for the Democrats earlier in the year but I’m not so sure now, I think we’re gonna have another Gore/Bush on our hands. Those of u living in Texas no that there’s practically no chance Obama will win that state but he can win California and NY. It’s all gonna boil down to a couple of states and the rest of the world are scared. * bites nails*

They are pretty much neck and neck in the polls. 3% or 4% doesn’t mean much. I ALWAYS question the polls regardless of who is in the lead. The polls change every day. And people tend to forget that Barack leads in electorial votes with states, there are maybe about 5 or six states that are undecided. Thats what people need to be paying attention to. The states that republicans usually have on lock (the Southern states) are extremely competetive now with Barack in the picture. The republicans know this, which is why they will use any hat trick or lie to try to win…they have been intimindated by Barack since day one. Just sitting around talking a bunch of shit. Im over it now. Im an independent voter..and am very dissappointed at how the republicans have ran their campain. Very irresponsible, especially considering the times that this country and the world are in right now. If McCain was thinking about “Country first”..then he would have chosen a better running mate for VP, instead of chosing just any woman to get the womans vote.
I find it funny that certain McCain supporters are in here gloating about a bunch of nothing…lets see how much you’ll be gloating when those debates come around and your girl Palin gets exposed on national t.v. by Biden…a man with 25+ years of international affairs experience, meanwhile Palin is working off of a 3 week tuturial. She won’t be able to be as scripted during the debates and Biden knows how to tactfully debate women..he knows how to debate them by tearing them to shreds without people thinking he degrated them. Its going to get very interresting real quick. And whoever said Barack needs to start fighting back is right..he needs to start standing up for himself better and quit letting these people get away with this nonsens they call a campain.

I hope you really mean that. I wish that all the folks talking about I’ll leave if so and so win would not wait and just hit the road today. What people like you fell to realize is that this is the best Country going. You are free to do pretty much what ever you want. Unlike most countries there is no require service to your counrty. All you need to do is be born. And just live. Why do you think 5x as many people request legal resdencny here than anywhere in the world. Please dont tease us. No matter who wins one person will not be happy, because it is about the PEOPLE. So what if the person you wanted dont win. The point of the election is for the the Majority of the people to have the Majority of their issues.

Wow I dont know if you have ever seen Biden or Palin debate, but I would go back and pull some of Biden’s speeches from this and past election. Not so good. This is the same guy that Clinton, Obama and just about every Dem that ran this year said was not even close to being ready and is part of the Washington Problem. Is all good I mean if you like Obama you like Obama, but dont let that cloud the fact that Palin is a fighter. She was the underdog for Governer. Alaska is not like Georgia or Texas People have alot more to lose if they change from the norm. And she won and by all account was doing a good job so far. so I would count her out. And McCain well we’ll see.

Please black people this is some free maony advise. Just bacause morgages rates went down dosent mean you need to go out and try to get the most house you can get. The drop in rates will not last. This will be even more true when they raise taxes to pay for some of these refi’s. Get what you can afford, but more so what you NEED. Its better to get a cheaper house with a higher fixed rate then a more expensive home with a lower Adjustable rate.
