I’m definitely voting for Obama/Biden in Nov. But I feel a shift in this country since the debates and it’s leaning toward McCain/Palin. I think Obama and the Democrats did themselves a big disservice by not selecting Hillary Clinton for VP….but hindsight is 20/20. Not sure they’ll be able to overcome this; I know I’m being pessimistic, but I see the tide shifting and we should all be very concerned.

I noticed the same thing about gas. I thought the prices went up because we were having a problem digging too deep and they needed more technical setups to recruit oil. How did that miraculously begin to change right around election time? Everyone got tax rebate checks the year of elections, and now Bush is bringing troops home? I’m aware that Obama was born on U.S. territory. I bring it up because (allegedly) his mother remarried to an Indonesian citizen when he was six years old and he was given citizenship rights within Indonesia, which does not allow dual citizenship. I want to see if anyone one else has heard anything on this and can provide accurate information before I begin my own research. I’m an independent. It doesn’t mean I’m a slick away from republican. It means exactly what it says, independent. There are independents that vote for republicans and some that vote for democrats. Independents just mean you choose not to belong to a major party so when you vote you are not ever crossing party lines if you don’t like the candidate running for your party. We are the ones both parties are fighting for right now. Since I did research I choose Obama for the run because I agree with the policies he has set forth.
