I’m definitely voting for Obama/Biden in Nov. But I feel a shift in this country since the debates and it’s leaning toward McCain/Palin. I think Obama and the Democrats did themselves a big disservice by not selecting Hillary Clinton for VP….but hindsight is 20/20. Not sure they’ll be able to overcome this; I know I’m being pessimistic, but I see the tide shifting and we should all be very concerned.

Mighty funny how Bush is reducing the troops and gas prices seem to be staying down. Anybody else notice that? Just a ploy for people to believe that the Re-pubes are actually going to do something about that IF McCain wins office. Trust, if McCain wins, troops are being recalled, gas prices going right back up! I really can’t wait for the debates. We all know they’re prepping Sarah on what to say but I don’t think she’ll be able to hold her own once she gets out there. I agree there does seem to be a shift to the Re-pubes, but I really believe thats only temporary. Once the hype dies down and she starts talking, the Re-pubes will eventually hang themselves. The 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution guarantees citizenship at birth to almost all individuals born in the United States or in U.S. jurisdictions, according to the principle of jus soli. Certain individuals born in the United States, such as children of foreign heads of state or children of foreign diplomats, do not obtain U.S. citizenship under jus soli.

I noticed the same thing about gas. I thought the prices went up because we were having a problem digging too deep and they needed more technical setups to recruit oil. How did that miraculously begin to change right around election time? Everyone got tax rebate checks the year of elections, and now Bush is bringing troops home? So funny how the republicans play out this election. Their only idea is to win. My friend called this out way back when the primaries first started.

I’m aware that Obama was born on U.S. territory. I bring it up because (allegedly) his mother remarried to an Indonesian citizen when he was six years old and he was given citizenship rights within Indonesia, which does not allow dual citizenship. I want to see if anyone one else has heard anything on this and can provide accurate information before I begin my own research. I wonder why black people don’t wonder why the white man continues to call him “Barack Osama”? I am too waiting to see what McCain says about women’s right even with a woman vp. Last time I checked he believe that women should not have equal rights as men and that they shouldn’t be eligible to even make the same pay. I’m an architect and do a better job than some of these men. You mean to say that I still have to get paid less even if this is my dream job and I spect 5.5years getting my masters in it?
