I bring it up because (allegedly) his mother remarried to an Indonesian citizen when he was six years old and he was given citizenship rights within Indonesia, which does not allow dual citizenship. I want to see if anyone one else has heard anything on this and can provide accurate information before I begin my own research. Independents just mean you choose not to belong to a major party so when you vote you are not ever crossing party lines if you don’t like the candidate running for your party. Ron Paul Makes an Appeal for Third-Party Candidates

Representative Ron Paul, the libertarian-leaning congressman from Texas who attracted a devoted following in his bid for the Republican nomination, is once again trying to shake up the presidential race.

At a press conference in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, Mr. Paul plans to urge voters to support one of the third-party candidates for president rather than cast their ballot for either Senator Barack Obama, the Democratic nominee, or Senator John McCain, the Republican candidate.

“At a time when 60 percent of the American people are dissatisfied with their presidential choices,” Mr. Paul said in a statement, “this could be the year that third-party option brings in a big chunk of the vote.”

Ron Paul has an important point of view to express.
Let’s face it the two party system spends an absurd amount of money and energy blaming eachother for the problems that both of them have been in charge of at some point in time in the past 100 years.

We find ourselves a broken nation. There is little unity. There is dysfunction in Congress. Incompetance in the Administration and a lack of credibilty in the Supreme Court. The press is weak and owned by interests that are more corporate than citizen.

We need more parties. 30% of the nation back the Republican candidate no matter who the GOP throws into the ticket. Another 30% back the Democrat. The other 30% go back and forth hoping for the best.

The question has never been whether it’s legal for a non-U.S. citizen to be President, much less senator. The question is whether he is a citizen. I don’t know if you realize this, but the higher ups in the world create laws for the regular people to abide by, not them. When you see a bigwig on television getting escorted out of his office or mansion in handcuffs, it was because that person either didn’t follow orders or because the brotherhood has decided to make him or her the fallguy. You’re not intelligent enough to understand what you espouse. You’re angry that the white man doesn’t love you, and because of that, you can’t love nor understand yourself. You mask this self-hatred by lashing out at any negro that will not follow you as you attempt to follow and overtake your master, the white man. You do not have enough intelligence or understanding to grasp what it takes to empower our people, so you resort to the food that’s given to you by your oppressor. If you’re in prison and a black corrections officer approaches you, do you think that he is your friend because he is black? Is a black police officer your friend because he is black? A man of intelligence will understand that any man that partakes and rises up in a racist system is probably a tool being used, no matter what color he is, or is alleged to be.

If people read my commentary; as you do, and read “Muslim ties” when I use the word “alleged” that is their problem and lack of reading comprehension skills, not my issue. You have shown extreme traits of a reading comprehension issue and that is something that you must deal with on your spare time with a tutor. Did your grandmother used to tell you about the cornerstone? Do you know who that cornerstone was? It was Christ (Psalms 118:22,23, I Pet 2:7). Now what did your father teach you?

The Obama photograph is priceless! I feel so much pride when I look at it. I see the pride, hope, and admiration in the faces of the men in the background. It is striking to me that at least four generations are represented in the photograph. As a mother of two boys I am excited to have lived to witness this moment in history no matter what happens on Nov. 4. Be blessed!
