I am just really appalled to see the depths to which the McCain campaign will and has gone to win this election. They have NOTHING to run on, so they resort to just making ish up and putting it in the media. They know that there are a lot of uninformed voters out there who will see his ad and actually believe it. A lot of people do not go and seek the truth which is sad but true.

We NEED to get out the VOTE! They ( by they i mean McCain’s campaign, the media, etc.) do not believe the young vote or the African American vote is going to make a difference. Just by the simple fact that they continually use these “tight” poles as justifying the closeness of the race. Yet, they never mention the fact that these poles are done by calling LANDLINE phones, something that MANY persons between the ages of 18 to 30 ( and some above that) do NOT own. This is the age of the cellphone. Why do you think the Obama campaign uses text message as a way to reach voters? They understand the age we live in and how people now live their lives. Personally, I do not think the race is as close as they make it out to be, but when the closeness keeps ratings high for tv, then why change it?

SIDENOTE: I am VERY upset that honest, taxpaying individuals who do not gamble their money and buy homes and things outside their means are NOW going to have to foot the bill for this financial crisis. Asking the American people to help corporations, that have never helped us, by giving them 700 billion dollars is upsetting. If we HAVE to foot the bill I propose:

1) CEOs of companies get paid after the company starts turning a profit again ( meaning no tax payer money will pay their salary. Only the money they make will). They can live off the money I’M SURE they kept for themselves in case of a financial crisis such as this one)

2) Any company receiving federal help should not be able to outsource jobs overseas. If the American taxpayers have to help them, then they DAMN sure better give Americans jobs.

3) Once the companies turn a profit, they must be required to pay the government back in installments. Just like when we owe the government (IRS) money , we HAVE to pay them back or we get fined or go to jail!

These are just a some of my ideas i have right now………..

If Palin is not experienced or can’t handle it, why is she running for VP?

The McCain campaign is like a wonded animal, desperate and dangerous. They will try anything to win the election. I remember looking at a Time Magazine my grandfather had among his many newspaper clippings. The magazine was from 1949. It was covering the Chinese Revolution during that period and in it was a photograph of a young girl, she could not have been more that 16 or 17 at the time.
