Bill Clinton took a seat on the couch with the ladies of ABC’s The View on Monday for the first time. When asked whether his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, wanted to join Dem. presidential nominee Barack Obama on the Democratic ticket, the former president replied, “Not really, she didn’t.”
“She said that if he asked, I’ll do it because it’s my duty. She loves being a senator for New York and has more freedom to develop her positions on the issues and her things,” he said. He added that while Sen. Joe Biden was a “good choice” to be Obama’s running mate, Sen. Clinton “would have been the best politically”.
Clinton said he’d be surprised if Obama didn’t win, but also spoke admirably of Republican presidential nominee John McCain.

Someone sent me an email, earlier today, saying that Biden was gonna excuse himself from the VP position due to health problems, and that Hillary is suppose to be taking his place. I think it’s rumor, though.

On or about October 5th, Biden will excuse himself from the ticket, citing health problems, and he will be replaced by Hillary. This is timed to occur

I went twice and I’m own my home. Not Every soldier is against the war. For the record. There is no inital trainning in the Army that last for just 4 weeks. Frankly in parts of Iraq there are people who great us with gifts. They risk their lives just to shake our hand, but they dont show that.

See I join before any attack because I enjoy the freedoms we have that are exclusive to Americans. You see I have encounter some of these Young Vets like this young man here. And he is going about it in the wrong way. The young ones 20 -25. They dont want the three year free ride in school they are offered even if they are kicked out of the Army, They dont want to got to classes to show them how to adapt to everyday like, they dont want the free health care given by the VA, They dont want to fill out paper work for job trainning or the housing program. They want money. Never mind the 20,000-40,0000- they have already recieved for just showing up. never mind not having paid taxes on the salary/ plus extra money given on top totaling up to 1000 a month.
Cl this was a bad look and a Punch to every Soldier serving for the right reasons. I understand that this in enterainment for you all, but for some of us this is real life. And for those currently serving in Iraq like my husband, this is LIFE OR DEATH.

JA is absolutely right. I was in the miltary for 7 years. Some people make soldiers look bad. I’ve been stationed in Kansas, TX & Germany. There are good soldiers and then their are punk azz soldiers who make us look bad. The military helps a lot of people who don’t have their futures planned out. It was the best thing for me. When I got out I used the GI Bill & bettered myself. I hate when already dumb azz people join the military, complain ever day & then start talking smack. Talk about biting off the hand that feeds you and another thing, Terrorist don’t give a dam where they at, those lil kids don’t play. They’ll smoke your azz and play soccer a second later. I wish people would stop tying the war in Iraq to 9/11! Most of the terrorists who attacked on 9/11 were from Saudi Arabia, but they are an ally, so they didn’t want to anger them. We, as in the USA, are such a dependent a** country for oil that we didnt go after the country that actually harbors more terrorists then most in saudia arabia, but we used the tragedy as an excuse to gain more oil by going into Iraq. Its funny how no one, especially Republicans, talk about the fact that we started this whole damn thing because there were supposed weapons of MASS destruction. The only weapon of mass destruction in Iraq is the US. It pains my heart to see our soldiers die everyday for a money hungry cause and a President who is dumb as bricks. By definition you served in Kosovo, well I served in Bosnia “Operation Joint Endeavor” and that wasn’t a war…. that was peace keeping.
