Bill Clinton took a seat on the couch with the ladies of ABC’s The View on Monday for the first time. When asked whether his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, wanted to join Dem. presidential nominee Barack Obama on the Democratic ticket, the former president replied, “Not really, she didn’t.”
“She said that if he asked, I’ll do it because it’s my duty. She loves being a senator for New York and has more freedom to develop her positions on the issues and her things,” he said. He added that while Sen. Joe Biden was a “good choice” to be Obama’s running mate, Sen. Clinton “would have been the best politically”.
Clinton said he’d be surprised if Obama didn’t win, but also spoke admirably of Republican presidential nominee John McCain.

My mama and grandma have been going to prayer meeting they have been having at the church for this election and thy said some ot the same thing they say Sara Palin is a trick of the devil to distract people and decieve people and they say if it was the will of God for Hillary to have won she would have won, they say other things and they have scriptures to back them up but i won’t repeat them because it would caus a riot and my mama said he would win the nomination last year because he was in the will of God she said it when Hillary would not quit.
She said people are decieved about Gods authority and his ordained leadership in his country and she said some of Sara Plins pages as well as other so call christian conservatives must be glued together in their bible.
She said the pundits, media and most young folk as many so called christians have forgottent that the scriptures say God sets in office and He has a divine order and the earth belongs to him and the fullness there of and they that dwell there in.

I’m not the most religious person, but I’ve heard other religious folks, say that they believe Obama is the anti-christ. And they too have scriptures to back it up. And no offense to your moms but, it was pretty obvious by late February that Obama was gonna win, so that doesn’t necessarily make your mom psychic, just a woman w/ basic commonsense. I also don’t know about him winning the GE. There are many people that believe he’s inexperienced (myself included) and then there are those that won’t vote based on race. Now let’s not forget that blacks only make up 12.5% of the population.

Yes many people went in the military for different reasons, but at least they had the guts to go, knowing that war lies ahead. All Americans care about is insuring their safety and they will do this with the price of other people lives. As a American citizen who served in the US Military, the things you hear, see and have to do, most of the American people will never know. Maybe if your still alive in the era they will show the truth on the History Channel like the always do decades after it has happened.
Ask yourselves why this young man may feel this way. I know I did at some point or another. Yes I enlisted in the military and at my own will (voluntary). Yes my contract ended and I was extended (involuntary). Don’t think for a minute I was not mad, confused and bitter.

You need to read AR 635-200. If you want out of the Millitary you have more than enough options. Let us remember that everyone sign up for eight years. READ your contract. You may have 4 or 6 active but you sign up for eight total. There is no such thing as “extended involuntary” If you do less than eight and have not completely gotten out (i.e no irr) or you have reenlisted and are over ten years you are doing what your contract says. If you want to get out AR 635-200. No one is making you serve

When people protest its not agianst the American soldiers its agianst the government who sent them. No one can blame the soldiers, they are sent on orders that the government drafted up. The war in Iraq is not justifiable, you cant compare that to the civil war and pearl harbor. What most of those nations want is America out of their lives, every day there are protest in Japan because the Japanese want the American military base out of there. The Arabs want to be left alone and they want America out of their lives. But why dosent America do it, because they are scared if they dont keep their eye on other people that another nation will rise up and become the super power. reading your comment I see where you are coming from. You might want to look up some of the things you are say. In 2005 an entire corp was to move to Japan, but there was a issue with monies, both sides are are activtly pushing the move. Kuwait which is an Arab country, Loves the fact that American soldiers are there boosting their econmy. And beleive me soldiers are buying big time. They show pictures of protest in Korea but they dont show Korea the land of the soldier. a large number of korean make their life off soldiers dollas. Anywhere you go over sees and there are soldiers, you are going to find two things no fail. STD’s and money a flow. But just like America for every person that wants the Americans out there are two are three that want something else. And so you know a very large number of people thought the civil war was justifiable ( I thank god for it cause i’m black), because it was about money and not slaves. But something good happened. And I serve because I am America. Not African American. I dislike that term. Why does anyone have to defind thenselves as such. there are no White Cuban- African Cuban, African British. We are the only nation of people whp come together to be separate. Every black person dosen’t think like you. I never mention or called anyone uncle Tom. Of course Kuwait are happy the Americans soldiers are boosting their economy. Do you get it? THEIR ECONOMY NOT OURS. @ JA not so true, first enlistment 94-96 Ft Carson Colorado. second enlistment 97-00 deployed to Kuwait in opeartion desert storm, deployed to bosnia IFOR and SFOR in Hungary. 2002 – 2005 Afghanistan to Iraq back to Afghanistan extended after eight years. Yeah Congress man was contacted, yeah first Sgt and CO all did what they could to ensure i would be first to leave but bottom line contract was up and I was still there. E-6 type and came up through the ranks as PVT. All the AR’s in the world did not mean much to me at that point. Sure I understood, but there were others who could not understand is all I’m saying. 33 years old and multiple campaigns as an american black male, i can comment about any and everything I want to.
