POLITICS: OBAMA HITS HIGH POINT / PALIN CONTROVERSY / LAURA BUSH AT RNC

Wednesday, September 3, 2008

In the latest Gallup poll, Sen. Barack Obama leads the presidential race with his highest share of support to date. For the first time, 50 percent of national registered voters favor Obama for president, while 42 percent support John McCain.

PALIN CONTROVERSY

Since the announcement of McCain’s surprise pick on Friday, Sarah Palin has been catapulted into the limelight.

First, there was talk that her son was actually her grandson, the child of her oldest daughter, Bristol. Then, she and her husband issued a statement that 17-year-old Bristol was pregnant and would marry the child’s father, Levi Johnston. In fact, Levi left Alaska Tuesday to join the Palin family at the RNC.

Palin is currently under investigation that she used her position as governor to get the Alaska public safety commissioner, Walt Monegan, fired. The McCain campaign is reportedly using stall tactics to prevent the release of the findings by Oct. 31, four days before the November election.

Now, a new report has surfaced that Palin and her husband supported the Alaskan Independence Party, a political party that has called for the state’s secession from the union. Many take issue that McCain’s “Country First” slogan is being dismissed by his very own running mate because of her affiliation with a political party that puts Alaska first.

LAURA BUSH AT RNC

First Lady Laura Bush addressed the RNC in Minneapolis-Saint Paul, MN, on Monday. She mentioned that “George and I were planning to come to this convention, to have a really good time, and we would have been here tonight speaking, but, of course, as we all know, events on the Gulf Coast region have changed this focus of our attention. And our first priority now, today, is to ensure the safety and well-being of those living in the Gulf Coast region.”

Governors Rick Perry (Texas), Bob Riley (Alabama), Charlie Crist (Florida) and Haley Harbour (Mississippi) had all planned to attend the convention, but addressed the convention via taped messages from their home states. Cindy McCain also spoke.

I think it’s sad that they are trying to fix the fact that Palin’s 17yr old daughter is pregnant. Ask yourself this, if Palin wasn’t the VP choice for McCain, would she try to fix her reputation by making her daughter have a PATCHED UP marriage?!?!?!? She’s 17 for crying out loud, she’s not ready to be married, she’s not even considered an adult yet. She made a mistake, whether it be laying down w/no protection or maybe a malfunction (you know what I mean…) if there was no baby involved, she would not be getting married to this boy. I have a feeling this is going to end badly…

Looks to me like McCain didn’t do ENOUGH research on Palin before choosing her. Because it just makes no sense to choose someone as a running mate that has scandal to hurt your chances of being elected. This shows his TRUE reasons for picking her.

Palin…she’s ridiculous & I was confident there would be scandal a few days after McCain’s decision. Her daughter’s decision to get preggers has nothing to do with politics. She should not force her to get married at such a young age…that’ll be a divorce in 3yrs.

Republicans & Bush are trying to make a good impression by making it seem like the hurricane aftermath is they’re “first priority”. The damage was already done when Katrina victims were left on the street. We won’t forget that no matter how hard they try with their new techniques for Hurricane Gustov victims. Here’s sumthin funny…I once saw a bumper sticker that said “I don’t trust any Bush but my own” lol

Anyway….Obama for Prez…2008!

Damn, we were just discussing in my journalism class how much Palin has going on…jeez louise…I love her personality and her vibe — but she is completely not ready to be a heartbeat away! When a Republican commentator on CNN was asked if Palin was the best McCain could pick, she moused her way around the answer but even she didn’t say yes! She just kept saying how she is a strong woman, blah blah blah, which is awesome, but does she have what it takes to possibly run a country? And if McCain thinks this move nabbed him Hillary supporters, he’s wrong. Palin is no freakin Hillary Clinton…anyone with half a brain can see that…

This just keeps getting better and better..

The Republican are good when it comes to winning elections, which makes me wonder what they’re up to by leaking all this “damaging” info on Palin & her family?

I really liked Obama’s response to the controversy surrounding Palin & her family.

There may be hope for him yet.

Palin should not make her child get married because she is pregnant. she made one mistake and now she is making her make another by marrying.
Palin is clearly not ready to run a country. she can’t run her own household.
Mccain has insulted women across the world as far as I am concerned. He does not look at women as being equals and he PICKS a WOMAN! Maybe if Palin beleived in sex education her daughter might not be pregnant NOW.

@ 5 you said it best. I would also add this, I am Pro Choice, only because I believe women should have total autonomy of her own person. The only person who can answer for a woman is her and the only person she needs to answer to is GOD and I am neither so if she chooses to terminate her preganancy she has to lioive with it.

Palin’s story is just another example way sex education should be taught in high school with the emphasis on sexual responsibility and autonomy. Palin believes in abstainance and no sex -ed in schools is the correct way to deal with teenagers, but maybe if she would have thought differently about the matter and openly allowed her daughter to discuss sex–no one said preach do it, but responsibility if you chose to do so– her family wouldn’t be in this perdicament now. She should THANK GOD that boy didn’t have HIV. Pregnancy is the least of the worries parents are facing nowadays, our children are dying because we remain silent about the responsilbities of sex, and where were her parents before this child got pregnant.

This is not a poster for family values–making this child marry her “baby daddy” (yeah that term in not just for black youth anymore) but how we are not involved enough in our children’s lives to make them see that sex, although great, is something worth waiting for or at least if you are going to do it be responsible. If we talught sex education from the emotional standpoint maybe most of our children wouldnt be going through the angst of deciding to be mothers when they should only be deciding what college to attend.

Hell half of us are not using what we know ourselves– that is why HIV in the US urban areas like DC rival African nations with the highest HIV rates. Makes you think, sex ed in high school is not all that bad.

You know…. I think McCain knows Obama is best for the job and he is secretly trying not to get elected…. Yeah, thats whats happening… LOL! Seriously, Im sure he knew everything about her before picking her. Trust me.. they do full background checks… Im sure he knew about this and other things we may not be aware of.. Just an opinion though… Ne Ways….

I can’t believe he thought she was the best candidate after doing a background on her. I’m glad he picked her though because I know that this is hard to swallow for some of the most die hard republicans. I know picking a woman was a strategic move but there had to be better women candidates out there! Good for Dems though!

OBAMA 2008!!! Can’t wait til Novemeber 4!!!
I am glad Palin & family are in a controversy. If Obama had a 17 year old pregnant daughter…..it would be a freakin OUTRAGE, but since it’s this white teen then she is “brave and wise for keeping the child. Whatever this is an example of a double standard. Teens have babies everyday but are not usually “praised”..and then they add that she is getting married @17…DUMB..as if that makes it any better knowing her young ass is not ready to be a mother let alone a WIFE!!!
The Bush’s STILL do not care about BLACk people if you ask me…

I agree whole heartedly with every comment made today. This is sad. I really do feel badly for Bristol. Not at her choice, but at the spectacle her life has become. I can only imagine begin 17, having this personal matter thrust in the spotlight. Look at Jamie Lynn Spears. Diff toilet, same *hit. These “family morals” need to really be assesed. In my family, doing whats in our child’s best interest was my parents’ motto, mistakes & all.

PLEASE REGISTER TO VOTE!! CHECK FOR YOUR STATES DEADLINES!! PLEASE!! EIGHT IS ENOUGH!!

Remember, whomever becomes president in Nov, will have 2 and a possible choices for Supreme Court. Look at our issues coming up, Roe V Wade, gun control, education reform etc…,

I know Palin’s a woman, but please dont think that she will speak up for us when it counts. I had the right to choose…, so should everyother woman in his country.

Vote. ’nuff said

It’s so disturbing to see how the Palin campaign attempts to hide Bristol’s pregnancy. Has anyone else noticed that Bristol always has the baby or a blanket over her stomach? I mean, EVERYBODY knows she’s pregnant, so why are they being so extra about it? Oh, and Palin doesn’t believe in sex ed. in the classroom, and adamantly encourages abstinence. Too bad her daughter didn’t get the memo.

Anyone who can’t see that McCain’s VP choice is a shallow attempt to persuade Clinton supporters to the GOP, clearly needs Jesus! Clinton and Palin = Apples and Oranges!

I See Through All The Glitz and Glam

Wednesday, September 3, 2008 /

the_one,
Your words were exactly what I was thinking. I watched pieces of the Republican convention yesterday just to see what it was about and the issues they address. So far I have heard nothing about McCain’s policies. I keep hearing he’s more experienced because he is a war hero. The republicans really try to trick people with “we are true christians” tactics. They had the christian singer up there and everything. I am a straight woman with no children and what really ticks me off about Palin is how she condemns women who have abortions and condemns gay marriages saying both of these things are against christianity, but when her young daughter becomes a baby momma out of wedlock then she says well its okay, my daughter will get married to the dad and we will deal with this as a family because it’s personal. Don’t you think choices of abortion and marriage are personal also? No sin is greater than the other, you daughter was screwin out of wedlock so don’t condemn one and excuse the other because it’s not right.

anyways I am happy Obama is just keeping it moving despite what they try to say about his lack of experience. Being a “war hero” doesn’t make you experienced in economics, healthcare, education, etc. It only makes you experienced at going to war which is exactly what this man want to do. Besides he only picked Palin because she’s a woman and her husband works at an oil plant with connections to start off shore drilling.

First the parents should teach there kids about sex. Stop trying to make the government take care of you kids. you had them damn kids take care of them.

the daugther was not in hiding. Everyone who took a look at Palin knew. come on people its Alaska. Second She is not making her get married. Thats what they do in red neck land. Dont act like ya’ll dont know.

And if the fact that the daugther is 17 makes her unfit to be VP the think about the fact that Obama’s mama was also 17 and got married and gave birth at 18. Lets be real. There extra about it because people are jumping on her child. People thats her kid. Why you think Obama said he’s not having his kids in interviews anymore.

I agree. The Republicans are very good at “winning” these elections. They allow all the outcasts and dregs of society to flock to the Democratic conventions and scream, shout, and party while they just win the big one. It will be very interesting to see how this plays out. Anyone who thinks that this man, McCain, just picked this woman out of the blue with no knowledge of these outstanding issues needs their head examined. There’s always a plan.

Hopefully all the smart voters out there will filter all of the Republican “distractions” that are filling the airwaves. I seriously doubt if McSame really wanted Palin as his running mate. The bottom line is this: He wants to win and if that means recruiting a woman to appeal to working mothers across the US, then so be it. Just take a look at when both families are together in contrast to Obama/Biden. It is clear that real chemistry, admiration, and liking exists among the Obama/Biden families. McSame/Palin look like strangers….oops, that’s what they are!

This election just gets better and better. I in one way am happy to hear that other teenage child is excepting a baby. Nor does it bring my heart any joy to see this poor child being made to deal with a very personal issue in a public forum.

But on the other hand, all the events that have transpired in the last few days makes me even more hopeful that I will witness the election of this country’s first president of color.

I know that it shouldn’t matter what color the next president is. All that matters is how well he can run this country. But it does matter. It matters to every single African-American we lived during Jim Crow. It matters to every person who every had a cross burned on their front lawn. it matters to every one who has every been told that there hair was too nappy, their skin was to black or their nose was to wide. It matters.

So, there was small part of me the jumped for joy when I learned that this young girl was pregnant.

Now, I can’t help but wonder why in the hell would Palin accecpt the a VP position knowing what it would do to her family.

His top VP vetter only met with the woman one time before making the selection. I dont believe for a minute that John McCain knew about some of these issues surrounding this woman but he’s doing some serious damage control.

@JA , I respectfully disagree with you. Most parents aren’t fit to teach their children about sex. Just because a person has engaged in sexual activity does not make them a subject matter expert. You would be very surprised at how much most people don’t know about their own bodies.

Most women have no clue when they ovulate. Some have never experienced and orgasm. This is why we depend on the governement to teach our children sex education because the average person is not equiped to do so.

Are yoy trying to say only “redneck” parents force their kids to get married in this day and age? lol Just because a child can sneak around behind their parents backs to have sex does not mean they have the backbone to stand up to them once they get caught. Exactly where is she going to go if she did say she refuses to get married or worse wanted to get rid of the baby? Her 17 year old self could hardly stand the cold of Alaskas all outdoors. I’m not saying they are forcing her to get married I’m just saying people from educated well to do families do this waaaay more often than the “rednecks” you mentioned. Rednecks just move into each others trailors and keep it moving. They dont care what people think because they are already considered as trash.

another thing mccain was so upset of all the history being made obama being the first afro american and the first to pack so many people at the convention so mcain tried to make history by chosing a woman as vp and now it’s backfire. i hope and pray those old farts don’t try to push him through the back door of the white house like they did bush in both elections.

This is absolutely absurd and hypocritical the way the media is downplaying this scandal. Obama is old enough to have fathered a 17 daughter. Can you imaging the diatribes that would have been written about him and Michelle if their 17 daughter was pregnant? They literally crucify them in the media…so called pundit and Uncle Tom Negroes alike. I can just hear them now “Barack Obama’s family has no morals or values,” “typical black girl,” “having kids out of wedlock,” “The man cannot govern his daughter, how is going govern the country?” “Obama’s daughter’s baby daddy” I could go on and on….

But with this white girl, everybody is treating her like she is some saint when obviously she is like a clothes pin…squeeze her head and her legs open. But that is how the media put spins on things. If you are not careful they will have you supporting total fuckery. They will make the villain look like a saint and the saint look like a villain. Look at how they treat Michelle, who is class personified. They call her an angry black woman, a terrorist etc. and treat Cindy McCain, who is a junkie as the All American girl.

Back to the issue at hand….To me personally I really do not care about her pregnancy; she could have as many kids as she likes, but I just cannot overlook the hypocrisy. I even saw a woman at the RNC last night wearing a button that says, “I support unwed teen mothers” Now what kind of an example are they really setting for young women with shit like that?

It is obvious that the Palin family has no morals or values and something tells me that there’ll be more shit coming out. A tape maybe….

It’s not the fact that her 17 year old daughter had a baby out of wedlock, it’s the fact that Palin went through all that trouble to try and hide it. We cannot have a VP who puts raggedy plans together like that. Not only is she inexperienced but she’s against sex education in school. Mabey if her daughter was educated on sex, she may have not got knocked up.

Im starting to think that McCain is throwing this election as well. She has way too much baggage not to mention her negative track record. It seems as though he’s handing the presidency to Barack on a sliver platter. Or mabey he was so desperate to get votes that he hastily chose her in attempts to win over Clinton supporters. Whatever the case, he’s screwed big time.

I notice the emotionality of the democrats as well. Our people in general are overly emotional but this is ridiculous. I don’t believe in politics in relation to the upliftment of black people at all, but people who choose to align themselves with the party known as “Democrats” are extremely emotional and oftentimes outright buffoonish. I read the comments of some of these Obama people and it reflects the sad state of affairs in the black community and how simple the people really are. It’s like children that can “vote”. This allows the so-called democratic nominees to tug at the heartstrings and make promises that they cannot carry out. I respect the Republicans much more than the democratic leaders. The republicans don’t put forth any facades or fake plans regarding the black community; they don’t come to black churches, and NAACP meetings and act as if they care about black people. You know what you’re dealing with when you, as a black person, are dealing with the Republicans.

Society is worried about the wrong things. Who cares that her daughter is having a baby. She’s almost grown. Jesus talks about people casting stones at others. We need to stick to politics & off family issues. Obama also said let’s talk about politics, his own mama had him at 18, which means she was preggars at 17 also. P Diddy made an ass of himself talking about Mc Cain. White people look at us & laugh. When we act like asses, they turn the other way. I totally agree that the candidates family members should be off limits (especially their minor children), but we all know in this day and age of blogs, TMZ, and the internet that will never happen. Lord knows I would be mortified if 10% of our family skeletons/secrets were there for the world to see.

The really sad thing about this is some of the statements being made about the child (17 year old girl) not only in the media but right here on this site. I am not sure how many of you are actually parents, but come on people. All we can do as parents is try to give our children the tools and information we feel they need in order to be successful and safe in life. At some point, the kids are going to be put in a situation where they have to make their own choice…….its called free will! When those mistakes happen, hopefully you are fortunately enough to have family members there to support you and help you though it……if this is how Palin and her family have decided to handle this then that is their choice.

Not that the republican’s ever had my vote to begin with, but the one thing that bothers me the most is that I believe Palin knew before accepting McCain’s offer that her child was expected and she still decided to move forward with the VP nomination, knowing the scrutiny/attacks it was going to bring on her daughter and other members of her immediate family. I think that speaks volumes about her personal character. Let’s not forget that she also has a four month old “special needs” child at home as well. If McCain thinks that women are automatically going to flock to her and give them our vote just because she is a woman he is stupid. I live in Arizona and McCain aint no Joke!!!! If you think Bush was bad, it is going to be much worse if McCain makes it into office.

I don’t disagree, if it were Obama it would probably 100 times worse, not only would they use this as a way to bring down and hurt Obama and his family but it would be a major attack on the black community, they would go into all types of stereotypical garbage!! Doesn’t make it any less sad.

The highlight of what I wrote was meant to state that as a parent, I don’t think I could have never in a million years bring that kind of ridicule to my daughter and family.

I do however find it very hard to believe that McCain thoroughly researched Palin. There were far more experienced and from what I can tell less risky individuals he could have selected to be his VP choice other than her…….both women and men for that matter. I am just stunned at his selection, and quite confused at his thought process as I am sure many American’s are. But I hope they are paying attention, cause if elected…………..all we can expect is more of the same.

WOW @ McCain for thinking this was a “bright” idea! There are no words to be said for why he chose Palin, and no words for how she’s trying to clean up her daughter’s misdeeds. Obama will be president but the qusestion remains for how long? How long before he’s taken out and Biden gets moved right on in?

It is said that Trig the baby with down syndrom is actually her 17 yr old daughter. I didnt beleive it at first until reports came out saying she was leaking amniotic (sp) fluid for about 11 hours and didnt rush to the hospital but instead gave a speech, caught an 8 hour flight to Alaska, stopped over in Seattle-Flight Attendents didnt even know she was pregnant, then drove to a hospital 45 minutes away from the most important hospital that cares for premature babies. Also, her daughter was taken out of school for 5-8 months due to mono, mono last at the most 2 months.
This is all too embarassing the this counry.
IF MCCAIN DIES WITHIN A YEAR OF HIS TERM THIS LADY WILL BE PRESIDENT.

No teenager should be having a baby regardless of race or class, but should be enjoying those years of their life that they will never get back.

I do feel a lot of things have been said about Obama (because he is black) opposed to McCain who is white. And for all of you who say race isn’t an issue in this election: it is always an issue.

Obama gets my vote, my either way history will be made.

Thank you for providing that quote for these black people that scream “Joe Biden!”. I’ve seen that as well as his racist comment concerning the East Indians but it falls on deaf ears when you’re speaking to sheep. Sheep are made to be slaughtered, not reasoned with. Unfortunately, our people are sheep (Jeremiah 50:6,7). These negroes don’t know this guy, Biden, from a hole in the wall but they give him a pass because he was chosen to be Obama’s running mate. This is why I laugh at clowns like DaisyDukes who thinks he knows what it means to be “pro-black” and “revolutionary”. Either you’re for and a part of the system or you are against it. I don’t want to hear that “black power” sh*t if you’re still licking the white man’s boots in his political system.

Basically this guy Obama is a huckster. It’s like if someone that didn’t have any income told his wife that he was going to the store to buy groceries and clothes. If his wife had any sense, she’d question where he planned on getting the money to buy these things before she believed him. America is a trillion dollars in debt and this dude is promising all sorts of reformative measures that he knows he cannot implement. Instead of black people wondering how the hell he was going to do what he says he’s going to do, they believe him blindly (because he’s black) and don’t question his affiliations. The only thing that he will do is what he can do, wage war. War must be waged to bring natural resources back from these conquered nations to replenish America’s economy so that they can pay back the bankers that lent them the money to wage wars, to get the natural resources……etc. It’s a demonic cycle.

There is a master plan on the Republican side of course….. but Obama is an intelligent man and he is already a well liked guy, he’s rubbing shoulders and getting alliances on his side. O won’t be a savior to America but in this century and the way America has been these last eight years I’m willing and ready to vote for Obama. I’m excited and can’t wait to vote this year, aside of the first time I ever voted and found it was no big deal..lol..I haven’t ever been excited to vote.

Whateva Judah. Some of us are only voting for Obama because we don’t want McCain in office. No matter who gets put in office, there will be some lying in cheating, but right now, McCain looks like another Bush. Obama may not do a damn thing he says he will, but as long as he tries, that’s all that matters to me. I’d rather live in country that only sucks a little with Obama than a lot with McCain. As far as where he will get the money from, look at how much your government waists every year with people’s tax dollars:

With you continuing to down us makes you no better than the other racists out here. Yet you continue to quote the bible. Wow! If you’re going to do that, you should uplift, brother, not tear own. You should know this if you go to church.

@Kenny….

WOW!!! I know wut you said about Palin being president if anything ever happened to McCain is Common knowledge, but I really have not looked at it in that perspective. U bring up a great point… Is she really the kind of woman we need running our country when she cant even get it together at home??

I dont know the details of her personal life… But I do know what’s been reported and all I can say is I dont know about her. I would need to listen to a speech from her being honest about what’s going on in her life.(and actually believe what she’s saying) People say that family business isn’t important in politics when, in my opinion, it really is. I base my opinion of someones capability of “running” something based on the things they have “Run”. She and her husband run their household… Is it in tact?? At least enough to fool the public? Probably not. Its not the fact that she has a pregnant daughter that bothers me because that could happen to the best of us…. Its the fact that I have no information or explanation of whats going on with her family.

If I were to even CONSIDER voting for Palin and McCain, she would have to convince me that she can help run a country.. with all of these rumors going around about her family, I would suggest she address everything and try to make it look like she would be more in touch with “everyday Americans” or something to that affect.. Either way… I just may be biased… Im for Obama.. Not crazy bout his VP pick either, but I trust that Obama picked someone he could work well with and get things done…

Do what’s in your heart. That’s what you will do anyway. To build anything, we must start from the bottom upward, not from the top down. What’s the point of having a figurehead in the White House if our community still has the same issues? Black people have had the ability to build taken away from them during slavery so we feel like the white man is the only one that can get rid of the confusion that we have. Our people feel like he is the only source of wisdom. They do not trust each other and you cannot have a community without trust. These are basic things that black people are going to have to tackle if we want real success.

@58

People get uplifted by hearing the truth, at least people that are of the truth do.To people that love lies, the truth is a burden to them. You have to understand that America is a corporation, not a country. That is a fact and you can look it up. It was originally known as the United States of America, then as the United States, and now it’s known as Homeland Security. That is the official, legal name of this land. When a corporation (like America) is in the red, it must find a way to raise it’s stock so that it can stay above water. This is why America needs the help and support of the American people to continue to believe in what it alleges to be about. You have negroes that quote from the damn founding fathers and the so-called founding fathers had their ancestors in slavery.

Wouldn’t it be really crazy if the rumors were true, and Obama is really NOT a US citizen? Wow that would be explosive!!!

‘On Aug. 21st attorney Philip J. Berg requested an injunction in Federal Court against the nomination of Barack Obama, citing evidence that candidate Barack Obama is not a US citizen, and “the obvious problems that will occur when the Republican Party raises these issues after Obama is nominated.”
Berg argues that Barack Obama was born in Kenya in 1961 to an American woman, Stanley Ann Dunham, and a Kenyan man, Barack Hussein Obama Senior, as reportedly shown by a birth certificate from Mombasa Maternity Hospital. According to the law at that time, a parent could pass US citizenship on to a child born abroad if the parent was at least 19 years old. Obama’s mother was only 18.

No hospital birth certificate has been produced to show Obama was born in Hawaii, only a certificate of birth registry after the fact, which forensics experts have denounced as a forgery.

Moreover, when Obama was six years old his mother remarried and moved with her husband to his country, Indonesia. Records indicate Obama was naturalized as an Indonesian citizen. Indonesia does not allow dual nationality, so even had he been born in Hawaii, he would have lost his citizenship.’

Now this would rock the PRESIDENTIAL elections. It’s all a farce. None of it is real. These people that are running have been handpicked by the Bilderberg Group for a reason!!! Scary, but true. They already know who’s won. They just like to see the average folk (sheep as Judah put it) run around fooling themselves into believing that the government is going to CHANGE!!! That’s laughable.

This is an election that will be talked about for years to come. I am so proud that Obama has taken the high road with this Palin fiasco and focused on making a staunch change. I do agree that John McCain picked Palin for certain motives: 1 He thinks women are interchangeable and that women will vote on emotion putting him in the office! Let me say, if this is what he thinks …I am truly insulted that he has taken away the notion that women can think and make sound decsions. 2. He also picked Palin to court those mediocre backwoods, gun-slanging, racist, ignorant republicans that just want to vote against a “Black Man” plus this will dupe them into thinking that they have made history by voting a Corpse and Annie Oakley into office.
As for Palin’s ability to properly educate her children about sex…wait a minute she doesn’t believe in sex education just abstinence….I don’t think that whole abstinence thing worked with your daughter. Bristol Palin and her beau Levi are now the poster children for Sex Education and not just Abstinence Education. Now as conservative as Bush claims to be his daughters never popped up pregnant. Palin is too incompetent to parent!!! So how can she lead????

Point Blank Sarah Palin is the wrong choice for VP. Her family issues bare no weight on my choice of whether or not to vote for her. Hilary was strong and defiant, if i had to point out the good qualities. Hilary looked the part and made mistakes just like any human would, but she was sincere and educated with her choices. Where did Palin graduate from? Where are those credentials? I have researched these items and i haven’t found anything that impressed me. It is a scary thought to see McCain’s health deteorate and realize that this ditzy looking broad will be the leader of our country.———-Meditate on It————- Get the f^&* out of here. I ain’t sayin hilary is ugly but i would rather have foreign officials focusing on her words for the lack of glamour, than focusing on Ms. Sweet Tits, looking like a dirty librarian. As a female, i want a woman that can capture that femininity but exude the heart and courage of a man. Hilary fought till she had no more cash to invest, but she fought hard as hell and that is what i want when it comes to female rights. I wasn’t voting for Hillary anyway, but damn if we play the gender card, at least let it be the highest card in the deck. SHIT.
