On Tuesday, the Republican National Convention paid tribute to the legacy of the 41st President of the United States, George H.W. Bush.

Supported by substantiated evidence that President Bush has the lowest approval rating of any president in the history of American polling, the Department of Homeland Apology began an open petition seeking signatures from similarly angered citizens.

well said @ #11. I was talking to a girl today and she just turned 18. She thought that when she received her Drivers License here in Md. that she was automatically registered. I told her do you have your card. She stated, “no” I said girl that is your proof. I told her to call the Board of Elections ASAP like yesterday.
So yes, Supporters make sure that you have your card and everything is str8ight. You dig. (for all the youngins)

After watching Sarah Palin give her speech, I cannot help, but feel that this country is heading for the unknown come this November. Although she spoke nothing of substance, mocked Obama, and moved the hockey moms and dads (actually the owners of the hockey teams’ moms and dads) to tears and laughter with her wise banter and sorry anecdotes–I know that many Americans are falling for this. I know that they heard nothing about her stance on a women’s “God-given” right to choose and comprehensive sex education; nothing about McCain’s plans on energy, McCains plan for health care; McCain’s plan for global warming, or foreign policy. Out of her own mouth, “I traded in my jet by putting in on Ebay” (Laughter laughter). I also noted how she criticized and ridiculed the work of Barack Obama as a community organizer…will Chicago’s finest please stand up!
After all of this, I cannot help, but feel that disappointment may lie ahead in November. Barack takes the high road every time and it seems as though people like this type of election. So many women crying…I think people are moved by this…I don’t even know how to call it. I’m speechless. At least at the Democratic Convention, I saw America–in all of its beauty and diversity. Here, I see the same old same old where our country has been for the past 8 years. Same tired tactics….
