i saw the performance…it was nice. But Ciara and Nicole Scherzindoifhdkjhgfjkgher could have stayed at home–they didn’t add to the song at all. I loved it. Beautiful women doing their thing. But what key was Miley on. I always knew it was something about her voice that annoyed me. But the kids love her so go Miley. Good to see them coming together for a great cause.

this is my FAVOURITE song as of now, it gets played on my ipod alot. I was anticipating this performance and they did well. Miley was quite annoying with the overdone hand gestures and such.

They all did good, I wish Beyonce did her adlibs towards the end of the song like she does in the recording but it was still great.

This was a wonderful performance. I really love how nobody was trying to be the star and out do everyone. They basically all did their parts and was singing according to their voices which is what moved me was the differences in their voices. I could’ve done without a few though:
Miley- she’s a great entertainer for children, but her voice really isn’t that great.
Ashanti- Her vocals are nothin really.
Nicole- She doesn’t really have a voice either.

I’d say fergie and Rihanna, but I think they were put in there to spin the song in a different way with her deep voice and Rihanna’s island voice.

I’d definitely say that Mariah, B, Mary, Leona Lewis, and Carrie couldn’t murdered this song alone, but I really do love this performance. Wonderful job to the writers as well.

What you said didn’t make any sense at all. The song you’re referring to is the James Bond Theme-007. They wanted Alicia because she’s an amazing singer, songwriter and musician. Alicia doesn’t have time to do everything, she’s extremeley active with charities and good works like her keep a child alive foundation helping poor African kids with Aids get the medicine they need. The performance was great and I’m proud of all the ladies including Beyonce, but don’t hate on Alicia.

Save for perhaps three of women singing I am not a fan of the people who performed tonight. And it would be hella easy for me to comment on an awful wig or who was off key or who looked and sounded like they didn’t want to be there but I won’t.

My only hope and comments for tonight’s performance is I commend those who participated in the song and performance because this show/performance was about bringing awareness and a cure for a deadly disease and I hope that they raised tremendous funds for cancer research.

It was hard watching the show because I cried through most of it… not really a fan of the song either but I am going to buy it off of itunes… the profits from the song go to cancer research as well and every little bit helps…
