In the latest with Halle, the actress will be honored next month by Elle magazine at the 15th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute in Beverly Hills.

Well, I am mixed race and I consider myself black. This is my personal choice. It is not up to others to tell me what to call myself.
It kills me that some mixed race people who chose not to call themselves black question or get mad at other mixed race folks that chose to do so. How are you going to racial advocate choice, then get mad when others chose differently from you??
That is why I believe most that chose not to call themselves just black are doing so to appear that they are a “better” grade of colored folks and not “typical” black. If is were not so, then why do you need to question other mixies that call themselves black? Your way is not the “right” way and furthermore, I do not care what the hell people call themselves in the UK. This is America, your country is not right about everything.
If you can chose then so can I. It is not your decision to tell me what to call myself based on what my physical appearance is to you.

#2, it’s MY decision not to get married. We talked it about it, & it’s not for us right now. I’M the one having qualms about it from MY personal experiences & experiences I have seen. I think she’s cute because she’s a BABY… you color-struck idiots. She is a BABY!!!! Let her be a BABY!!!! Most babies of every race are adorable (with few exceptions to be duly noted)…. This baby happens to be of the adorable variety. You can see the obvious joy she brings into her parents lives (as well she should because as previously mentioned… she’s a BABY!!!!!!!) and that’s what babies do.

When I saw the first pics of Nahla, I was like “Okay, she’s cute, she’s alright” until I really looked at her and saw that she is a very cute baby, but not the cutest I’ve seen. TEALEAF, I see you! I know exactly what you mean.

@TONI…just wondering if you think Halle should have married as well? IMO,since she doesn’t want to get married again she should have gone to a dam sperm bank instead of being selfish and because she can hand picked a man to farther her child(notice I never said “to be a farther to her baby”). I have no doubt that Halle that (if she hasn’t already) has no intention of having any relations with Gabriel since she’s already done what she set out to do-GET KNOCKED UP!! It is so transparent.
