I read in a magazine about a year or so ago that the dude that she was with before did not want to marry her. They had been together for six years I think she said and he was not interested in marriage until she became famous. He didn’t even support her when she was on American Idol. But as soon as she made it big with Dreamgirls, he wanted to get serious and propose cause she was making money. I don’t blame her. I would have dumped his butt too after all those years and now you want me to be your wife . Whatever. He wasn’t even cute!
