I can see glasses becoming a huge trend this season (and not just because of Sarah Palin). With vintage frames already back in full swing, celebrities are realizing that glasses can be just as stylish as perceived geeky. Recently folks like Kanye West, Rihanna, Pharrell, and Erykah Badu have been casually rocking funky/vintage clear lens.
I’ve always loved to wear glasses myself – not because I had to, but because they also serve as great accessory for the face and there a millions of options to just from. Just check out a few cool frames I found right online…

@#3. Being that your eyes are always “changing”, anyone who has this type of procedure, depending on your age can expect to go “under the laser” several times in a lifetime.
BTW, you can also expect the same result if you have any type of cosmetic procedure too!

i wear glasses & they are hotttt, not a day goes by where i’m not complimented on my chic eyewear.
but i just think it’s corny to wear glasses that look like vision glasses if you dont have any eyesight issues. so to all the 20/20 vision folk out there, please dont do this, it’ll only make u look corny. i think only celebs can pull this off.

I don’t think glasses are geeky…but I’m partial because I wear them. @ Ms. Cheeks a coworker and another friend of mine both got lasik. My coworker got her surgery about two months ago, and she’s already wearing glasses again. My other friend who had lasik said he wouldn’t reccommend the procedure to anyone. Go visit any eye doctor….nine times out of ten, they’re wearing glasses. That should tell you something – if it’s so great why haven’t they had it done?

My brother found some really nice glasses for less that $30 a piece at ZenniOptical.com all that is needed is your perscription and you’re well on your way. Prices start at like $8. I guess you can call it- The Look For Less – as they say on Style Network. Anyway, I need new glasses because I have vision trouble…
As a person that needs to wear glasses(…which I don’t do on a daily basis), I’ve seen a lot of fashionable glasses out there from D&G, Gucci, and even LensCrafters.
But, just throwing on some glasses, doesn’t make you look cool or smarter. People need to focus on the style, size and fit that looks good on them!
Rihanna looks good, Pharrel looks aight…but Kanye and Erykah look like damn fools!
I met a girl who spent close to $300 on frames she didn’t even need…just plain stupid!

I had LASIK eye surgery last year and I can say that it is honestly the best $1000 I ever spent!

My sister had lasik done. The only bad part was the swelling a couple days after, the drops you have to put in multiple times a day , some sensitivity to light. After a couple months and check ups her eyes were healed and she can see very clearly now. You have to make sure to research and pick a reputable doctor and be very persistent about your after patient care.

I finally got prescription glasses about three weeks ago and I love them I wear them 50/50 and I have been ntold I look better with glasses on and they are plastic frames. But people got to understand when celebrites endorse a trend it is bound to sweep the population like wildfire and everybody and their momma is going to try this trend out of all the celebrites Pharrell looks best with his glasses. Erykah and Kanye look a hot mess. Rhi Rhi glasses are cut ebut they just don’t fit her. If anybody was wondering Pharrell’s glasses are Tom Ford.
Rhi looks so sexy , with that look , two thumbs up for that look !
