Check out this hot new track from Keri Hilson. “Do It” was rumored to be Keri’s follow-up single to “Energy.” The track features none other than Tank, who happens to be one of my favorite male vocalists. The track samples the ever popular LL Cool J “Doin’ It,” which samples Grace Jone’s “My Jamaican Guy.” I actually love this track.

I’m sorry it took me so long to post this new Pussycat Dolls song, featuring Missy Elliott. “Whatchu Think About That” is pretty cool production wise, but it took me a really long time to really get into the song. So far, I’m not sure what directions the Dolls are trying to go in for this album, it seems a tad bit all over the place. Maybe as more tracks leak, I’ll understand their material a little better.

I cannot believe that Mariah is choosing “I’m That Chick” as the next single. Unfortunately, Mariah was originally going to title the new album That Chick, but Def Jam quickly reneged and retitled the album. The track sounds like the typical Ne-Yo/Star Gate collaboration. A lot of bad decisions are being made, but then again, there are rumors of Mariah already getting ready for a new album…
♫ Wynter Gordon – Feel It (full) – listen
I was really excited about Wynter’s project when I heard “Surveillance,” but I kind of feel like the song has gone to waste. Even though I like this new song, I’m just not sure if any of the other material even touches the caliber of “Surveillance.” I love Wynter as a writer, but I just don’t understand the direction or what she’s giving me as far as being an artist.
Keri’s song is not as great as you say it is.
Pussycat Dolls song is pretty sweet, i think it could be a cool 2nd single.

Honestly – If Keri comes out with this as a 2nd single – It will be a wrap for her. This song is cool if you are already a fan, but if you don’t know anything about Hilson, this song won’t be the one to connect you. Real talk – Energy doesn’t do that either. She is a dope writer/vocalist but something is missing form this new material.

Keri I get into her I keep trying but her voice is not distincitive enough and she falls into the bland catergory.

Mariah, they are choosing all the wrong singles, expect for I’ll Be Lovin You Long Time. That Chick fits the bland music/production that’s been playing on the radio right now so it might have a chance even though I don’t think it’s single worthy. To the Stan up top, The album is sinking, she went platinum but it’s plummeting the charts. Mariah is my favorite artist but I’m not blind. Brian isn’t hating this time even though he doesn’t like her. Oh and if you watched JD’s YouTube account you would see him, Mariah, B Cox, & Crystal working in the studio on a “special project” aka-new album probably. I hope she releases I Stay In Love, that is the hit of the album and my favorite. If she doesn’t, I’m done with her until I hear something hot from her again.
Winter Gordon-loved surveillance, the new song’s chorus samples that Phil Collins song from the 80′s, not bad.

Keri Hilson- “Do It”
I live for Keri and everything about her. All the material that I’ve heard from her debut “In A Perfect World…” has been nothing short of amazing, and “Do It” is just the same. Everything about Keri’s delievery to the lyrics is dope. It doesn’t sound like final version of the song, but even aside from that it’s still a very solid song.
Pussycat Dolls- “What’cha Think About That”
I heard this song a minute ago, and at first wasn’t too thrilled. But, after listening to it a few more times, I really got into it. I think Missy really takes the track to another level, like with everything else she does. I don’t really care too much about the rest of the songs, honestly, although I will say it’s nice to hear someone else other than Nicole, no shade.
Mariah Carey- “I’m That Chick”
Mariah, you are not that chick, lol. Syke nah, I don’t really care to much for this song. I’m a little mad at mariah ’cause there were some cool songs to choose from as singles on her last album like “Migrate” etc. “I’m That Chick” doesn’t really hit for me, and sounds a bit cheesy.
Wynter Gordon- “Feel It”
I love Wynter but, like Brian said, I really don’t get her direction. I’ve kinda lost my eye for her. I wasn’t really a big fan of “Surveillance” but, I was diggin’ some of the other material I heard from her like my personal favorite, “Frustrated”. “Feel It” is a bit “soundtracky” for me. But, it isn’t a bad song.

Keri’s song was removed..didn’t get a chance to hear it, but if it samples LL Cool J’s song “Doin It”, then I’m sure I’ll love it. I’m not a fan of Keri’s vocals. She’s an amazing songwriter for other artists but she has a problem when it comes to writing her own material. I dunno. I wish her luck, but I doubt I’ll be couping this album.
Didn’t even listen to the rest of the tracks. Mariah’s album sucks. Just like Usher, the sales in the beginning were good due to an EXCELLENT previous album…but they both left their fans feeling disappointed and cheated. I sincerely hope that, like Usher, Mariah is in the studio working on a new album..for her sake!

Sorry but Mariah’s cd is a flop and Charmbracelet did sell more. Dont know what happened but she had some hits on there, but maybe it was all the wack “live” performances she has been giving. She cant sing live anymore so maybe thats why she is picking songs that are easier to sing live.

Mariah’s live performances over the last 5-6 years have been trash.
That’s why you don’t see her perform songs like “Hero” or any of her older tunes were she really has to belt. She can ratchet it up a tad bit on her ad-libs in the vamp of her songs and the last note on “We belong together” was great. But she certainly has lost something when it comes to her voice. I don’t know if it was neglect, smoking and drinking or someone taping them tonsils a little to hard.. : ) But she’s absolutely terrible live.. the SNL performance was appalling in comparison to her mid – 90′s stuff.
Mariah should have put out “Migrate as the second single and “I Stay in Love” as the thrid single. I don’t know who’s picking the singles this time around, but whoever it is sure as hell doesn’t know what they’re doing cause they actually have a lot of good tracks to work with.
