Check out the second single from Robin Thicke’s new album, “The Sweetest Love.” I think he gave us a little something unexpected with the first single, “Magic,” and it seemed to have caught on really well. I think “The Sweetest Love” will be something that he will reconnect to his fans with, especially those who fell in love with Thicke on his second album, The Evolution of Robin Thicke. A lot of folks don’t even realize that A Beautiful World was his first album.

Here’s the remix to Ne-Yo’s second single, “Miss Independent.” In all honesty, this is a completely different song to me. Ne-Yo actually just shot a video for this new song in LA over the past weekend. It’s supposed to feature more of the industry’s most independent girls. With Jamie Foxx on the track, does this mean he’s coming out with another album? We’ll see. It’s crazy to me that Jamie started to hang around Tank on his last album, Unpredictable, and now he just starts to sound like him to me.

A slew of Ciara material leaked today, and out of the songs, the Danja-produced “Echo” is my favorite. It seems as though CiCi really had a lot more material to choose from than I though, judging from that first single choice with T-Pain. I’m a little scared for Ciara this time around – only because I think she’s a little scared for herself. All this posing nude, and talks of her trying to rival with Rihanna and Beyonce. I just think she’s worried about the wrong thing this time around.

Originally, this song was titled “Good Girl, Good Man,” when it leaked in snippet form, but the full version has been retitled “Man In Your Life.” I like Joe a lot, especially things that he did vocally on his last album, Ain’t Nothin’ Like Me. I just think that he needs the right push. “Man In Your Life” was produced by Polow Da Don and pretty much sounds like the identical twin of Nas’s first single, “Hero,” which featured Keri Hilson.
Yeah CiCi just needs to calm down & stick to what made everyine love her in the first place
And I feel u too Brian. I am scared for her this time around. Personally I was scared of her the last time b/c I was not a fan of the last album at all. Echo is ok but I wouldn’t play it all the time. It seems like she’s losing herself

Ciara- Honestly for me I never initially like most of her songs but somehow the videos sometimes make me change my mind. She has good production in some of her videos with the dances so maybe this could be a homerun with the right video.
Joe- Love Joe from way back but somehow I think he needs to revamp or reinvent himself a little more. His new music always seem to be a revised version of an earlier song which makes me flashback to his earlier music…… gets a little boring. Use a different beat or theme or tone or something… too predictable

This is the worst ciara song out of the 4 that were leaked. Year book is the best in my opinion. it is so big, I really hope she releases it as a single. Its like jazz mixed with classic R&B and Rock. It is the most beautiful ballad that Ciara has made, and her vocals sound very good. Next would be lovers thing. It is ur typical dream production with ciara’s sultry vocals. Her vocals are basically promise x10 and I have to say that there is no doubt she is getting vocal training. Lastly I like keep dancing….but mostly because of her vocals (she hits a high note and we all know that she never REALLY sings so this was a treat).
All this being said, Im so pissed that her album is getting leaked. Atleast half of her album is available for download and it comes out in 3 months!!! I have a feeling something shady is going on in her camp. Anyway Cici keep ur head up, and PLEASE release year book!!!

For once I agree w/ Brian lol. I think Ciara is worried about the wrongs things this time around. Hopefully those wrong things motivate her to make better music cause I haven’t heard anything I liked (that’s leaked). I also agree w/ what he said about Joe. Definetly baby makin music. Honestly I think Year book is the best song Ciara has ever made because it is like a REAL power ballad. Its not weak like and I, or her stuff off of the evolution. Plus the lyrics and meaning are really good, makes u feel sad and miss ur highschool days instantly.

Jamie and Tank have been best friends for decades. They’ve always worked on music together and that’s probably why they may sound alike to some people.
And YES Jamie is in the studio working on his 3rd studio album. Around the time he recorded “Please Excuse My Hands” he was saying his album should be out in December. Haven’t heard and update since then.
