So my analysis of the video concept is that Brandy “passed on” and her bf (cory) and mama (lady in the parking lot) are both missing her, so she comes back to visit them and let them know that she is always with them so they should not be sad. Then after they feel her presence, they are at peace with her passing. IF THIS IS NOT THE POINT OF THE VIDEO, I will be pissed because then it will make absolutely NO SENSE whatsoever!! Otherwise, its a great song, the concept I suggested goes well with it and I will be downloading her cd.

Im glad that Brandy is back with this single…the song and video are hot and speak for themselves! I love the road Brandy is taking with this new album, and its good that the video is simple because it doesnt over power the song. Besides im glad she decided to do something different this time around because it was about that we got a video that does not include: Beyonce and her bad lace front chasing Jay-Z around in a Tacky Tina original outfit or Ciara and her no singing self doing the matrix and booty shaking in pleather pants like in the thats right video, or another predictable Mariah video which usually includes her in minimal clothes, rolling around on the beach or the ground with wind blowing in her hair and hitting high notes.

For all those not feeling it Brandy is a grown woman with a child that has endured som pretty deep sh** for the past couple of years, she does not need to comeback with full on dance rountines and songs about her man, her money, or just how hot she is. I loved it and in an industry where everything is force fed to you and images are blatantly thrown in your face… it’s cool that Brandy took a simple approach….. this is a grown woman song, she’s not 15 anymore!!!

Brandy looks gorgeous. I like the single, but i’m hoping she comes out with a straight banger….this aint it, but it’s a nice lil tune.

Brandy needs a straight r&b banger…her voice is too deep and rich for this type of pop…i mean don’t get me wrong, i think this should be on the album, but she needs to use them vocal cords the lord gave her and give us a good r&b soulful song.

I know what to expect. Brandy doesn’t need to be all about the visuals because she actually posesses true talent. I would buy anything she puts out video unseen. The video served its purpose but the music speaks for itself and can stand by itself.

it’s funny how people are constantly saying she will flop and this song will get no airplay when it already has 80 radio station adds…before the vid was released the song debuted on r&B MAINSTREAM charts at #38…sounds like a success to me…anyways i love the vid i’m glad she didn’t have to depend on crazy effects or slutty dance moves to get her point across..just her passion alone she showed in this vid made me love the song much more…and she looks STUNNING!!!!!

brandy looks so amazingly beautiful and striking in her video, oh my goodness. gorgeous. i like the song. her eyes are very beautiful, i have always thought, even when she first came into the scene, that she had some asian in her. i still think so.

I just want everyone to remember that this single is just a teaser. There is something to be said for saving the best for last and building up, song by song, to an album crescendo and a tour. I think there is much more to come from this true songstress and we should all have our eyes and ears open when the album drops.

this is the perfect video for her return. People are posting comments like this video is boring. This song and message holds a much greater pourpose than her making a “flashy video”. For those that say this song is not great you need to really from begging to end listen to the song. from the lyrics, music, backround vocals harmonies, adlibs.. etc. this is an amazing song and video. The problem with a lot of people today is that they are not familialr with simplicity. Brandy looks amazing is singing better than ever and ther is such an annointment on her voice. Is it just me or is there deeper meaning/ hidden symbolism in this video that some are failing to see? I think it was a bold move on her part and her team to come up with the treatment for the video…Because when we last heard anything relevant about her aside from her brothers sex tape with a questionably well -endowed socialite..she got into an accident that took a life. This was a decision that was made to look very subtle/ non-strategic but is incredible for anyone who dares to look deeper .While I agree with some of the haters,yes this could fall into the category of another boring Brandy video because there isn’t much excitement or anything much going on ..but the concept was smart when you take everything else into account.
