Brandy preps her second single from her forthcoming project, Human. This is the follow-up to the rising “Right Here (Departed).” As usually, I love what Brandy is doing vocally on the Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins-produced single, it is a very beautiful, powerful song, but I’m not sure how I feel about this for Brandy’s second single. I don’t know that I could hear this on urban radio outlets, no matter how wonderfully crafted it is.
In any event, it was reported that Brandy’s album was being pushed back to December 9th. It’s original date was November 11th.

WoW, I love how brandy continues 2 deliver Quality music, This is what RnB is supposed to be about, this song has touched me I have come to realize that people who can appreciate her music are truly musically inclined, I love Brandy, she is definitely one of the great vocalist of our time, she uses her voice as an instrument. And 2 all the naysayers of brandy, I can tell you that probably a lot of your faves have been quoted that she is an inspiration or they have alot of respect for her, Kelly rowland, Keyshia cole, Tweet, Solange, Ciara,Jay-z, Kanye West and the list goes on.

That photographer should be shot! What is going on with the right eye ball. It’s almost disappeared in her head. Besides that, it would be a beautiful picture. I like the fact that she & Beyonce are wearing less make up. I love the natural look. Heavy make up actually make you look older.
I love Brandy but she’s not doing anything new or exciting for me with these singles. At this rate I’ll just go and cop another copy of Never Say Never on the 11th of November.

I prefer her timbo produced tracks over Darkchild. I spear im listening to Who’s she ot you as we speak. I dnt like this song, an dits not surprising that departed didnt do well eventho it was very international apealling. I most give brandy credit for bringingout quality music and not trending music (rihanna)

it’s okay. sounds like it would be perfect in a romantic comedy, it has soundtrack written all over it-i’m sure the adult contemporary stations will play it.
also everyone’s album gets pushed back. i’m convinced it’s b/c they publish release dates to the public so far in advance. why do they do that? i think giving quarters is good enough.

I think this song is an excellent choice for the album. As much as we Brandy fans may love it, these days people who listen to the radio don;t request songs with REAL substance and meaning. They like those dumb candy pop shake ya a$$ type music. I appreciate real music, like Brandy. Her songs have real meanings, real substance, things I can relate to. Go Brandy!
this song has that classic Brandy sound yet it’s still very different. very relatable for soo many people out there. i LOVE this song.. its beautiful. i even listened to the acapella earlier. and i agree if they can play “take a bow” and “no air” they can definitely play this… they’ll have no choice!

I love this song, and if the radio can play beyonce’s wack as if i were a boy on urban radio, then why wouldn’t they play this song? It’s more r&b than that bullshyt she trying to shove off on people. Plus Brandy’s vocals are sick on here, as opposed to Beyonce’s vocals which are strained and yelling unnaturally on the track as she always does.
Bottom line, if they can play beyonce’s warmed over crap, then they can play this beautiful quality add-something-to-your-life, meaningful, about-something song.
Just wow at how much other artists got to prove themselves, and beyonce can fart and people be clammoring to smell it.

Classic Brandy song and I love it. Brandy has always been about mid-tempo music and I’d surely hate to see her running around singing some fast pop junk. The point about making a comeback is staying true to who you are not trying to firt the mold of the masses. That’s what seperates reall R&B artists from pop&b artists that have been coming out.
This song is beautiful. I’m immediately liking it on first listen. This is what timeless music sounds like. You can play this 5 years from now or have played it 5 years ago and it would still sound fresh yet meaningful. I don’t see what’s wrong with making this a 2nd single. I think it’s a song perfect for the fall/winter season. It’s a type of song you can chill out to during the holidays.
