♫ NEW MUSIC: BEYONCE – “IF I WERE A BOY” & “SINGLE LADIES”

The much anticipated singles from Beyonce have finally leaked – “If I Were A Boy” in tagged form, and the uptempo dance track, “Single Ladies.” The two singles are set to impact radio next Tuesday, while Beyonce’s third project titled I Am… will drop November 18th.

“If I Were A Boy” is a pop ballad, which finds Beyonce in a sweet spot vocally, and is produced by Toby Cad (“Big Girls Don’t Cry” for Fergie), while the Tricky Stewart and The Dream-produced “Single Ladies” feels more like “Get Me Bodied,” and will be service to urban radio. I must admit, this new material has me quite excited, as well as the statements that have been released by producers and Beyonce herself. Can’t wait to see what Sean, Rodney and Timbaland have done for her.

I wonder do boys have feeling to ? girl are soft they care for people feelings. some boys are trash . but love both of the songs doe

  2. Sheila from B-More

I expected so much more from B. I assumed her music would have matured some. But it really hasn’t. I expected her to step it up a notch into mature, meaningful songs. Very dissapointed. Her costumes are basically all the same. Really need a new look. Not much change in B at all. I will continue to listen to Mary J and Keisha Coles. They keep it real all the time. Music has meaning and substance to it. Oh and by the way, I like Ciara’s version better (Like A Boy).

  3. Queen B

Queen B is back baby!!! ‘Bout time!

beyonce is all sizzle, no steak. she may “sound” good, but she has zero substance. how many times can people let this slide? this is mind pollution for your daughters. maybe if she actually wrote this garbage, i’d give her a little more credit. but none of the work is being done by her, (unless you count falling down the steps as work).

bottom line, the only true “R&B” artist alive today is alicia keys. she plays her own instruments, write her own songs, and doesn’t waste her or her fans time by singing a bunch of wack high school catchphrases.

I think both songs are pretty good, but I have heard better from Beyonce, on the bright side she is still doing her thing!

E! Online – Whose Idea Was Beyoncé’s Shiny Robot Glove?(E! Online)
Los Angeles (E! Online) – What is that new hand that Beyoncé has? Is it a robot hand? Is it superstrong?

See? I told you. The Cylons. They look like us now.

The handpiece you mention—alternately known among fashion reporters as the roboglove, the gling or Anti-Rihanna Death Grip—actually was handcrafted by Beyoncé’s longtime jeweler, New York-based Lorraine Schwartz. Despite Internet rumors that the piece was fashioned of pure gold—possibly in the legendary Elven forges at Rivendell—it’s actually made of…

    …titanium!

And, according to sources close to the gling, it’s also one of a kind and therefore close to priceless.

More details on the roboglove? Sure.

    • Schwartz had her artisans working day and night on the piece, laboring 24 hours a day until it was complete.

    • It fits literally like a glove. Beyoncé’s entire upper arm was cast in wax so that the titanium piece would wrap perfectly.

    • It’s actually several pieces, including a ring, a glove and a separate component that covers the upper arm. It can be worn all together or separately.

    • It looks heavier than it is. Titanium is about 45 percent lighter than steel.

    • Beyoncé really, really doesn’t want to take it off. She wore it on Saturday Night Live. She wore it in her “Single Ladies” video. She wore it in her cover spread for Gotham magazine. She wore it on the red carpet at the MTV Europe Awards.

    • The glove was Beyoncé’s concept all the way, I am told—a “superpower” hand to complement the singer’s new Sasha Fierce ego

Listen, I love Beyonce and I love almost all of her songs. The truth is that wether we like her songs or not doesn’t matter, as long as she likes her songs. Beyonce is only one person and she has an amazing voice! It is a miracle that she even bothers to come up with new songs to sing for all of us people. We really don’t deserve it if we are going to treat her like crap. Soon enough, if we keep on treating her like crap, then that is how she will act:crappy. If you though Single Ladies or If I Were A Boy or any other of her songs were bad, wait till you make her furious. She will definantly be bringing some major heat! So look out world, here comes the new Beyonce Knowles! And y’all best b careful!
