I was actually just at another site and heard the song “If I were a Boy” performed by its original songwriter named BC Jean. A 21-year-old out of Cali. And I hate to say it, but it sounds a WHOLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HELLUVA lot better being sung by her. It’s pop/rock and it actually sounds like it should being sung by her. My comments are not meant to be a Non Beyonce fan vs. a Beyonce fan lover. Anyone that has any kind of sense, a college/university education, taken a sociology, media studies, women studies course, or similar liberal studies courses will see quite clearly that Beyonce is a damn idiot. “If I were boy” sounds great. It sounds like Rihanna could have gotten hold of this track, not that she has a great voice at all. Promotion was very smart. Appealing to pop and out-right r&b.
