His image has become a carbon copy of people like Travis Barker. Benji and Joel Madden also dress like that. The tatts, piercings, fedoras and cut off Dickies…he’s doing nothing new, but because a lot of black people are narrow minded and only pay attention to what’s going on in their world its easy for an artist in the ”urban” scene to swagger jack an artist’s style outside of their genre of music and no one even questions it. e.g. Rihanna.
He’s going for the rockstar image because he’s trying to tap into that market, he knows that that is where all the money is. He said it best himself “my seconds, minutes, hours go to the almighty dollar…”
