T.I. brought some very special surprise guests with him on stage during his MYSPACE.COM Album Release party this weekend at the Key Club in Hollywood, CA.
Kanye West came out and performed “Swagger Like Us” and also premiered some of his own material – performing a new single called “Heartless”, as well as “Love Lockdown”.
Rihanna made a surprise appearance as well, to perform the radio friendly single “Live Your Life”.

I think TI and Kanye performed well. I really don’t like any of the material (works) they have out now.
Actually most of the songs on the radio I cannot tolerate. There all about getting money, sex, or something else without substance.
Speaking of substance, Rihanna performed but I am confident she sounded terrible. She can dress and put a dance album together; however she lacks what a performer is supposed to do, perform and entertain. She can dress, don’t get me wrong but what is substantial bout her?
Please don’t put me into the “hater” box or someone who is in my early 30′s through late 50′s, I am 20 years old and the music we have today, well most of it is garbage.
If you have been noticing the trend lately, most of the artist we perceive to have some kind of talent are making more money.
Most of the music today is about “getting paper.”

I live in the Caribbean and I believe that our music speaks about different issues. Instead about the dope boys and how this female artist dresses.
I used to really enjoy North American music, but for the past five years, it has basically become a joke and highly predictable. With a few exceptions of some talented people, Jazmine Sullivan, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Beyonce (even though B’day was a slight trip up, that girl is a singer and performer), Alicia Keys, and Leona Lewis.

Rihanna looked good as usual, and she might not have sounded bad, whoever said that. Her vocals are like hit, and miss, sometimes she sounds really good, and sometimes she sounds otherwise.

Why should I spend my hard earned money on them? What do material things do for you? Gold teeth, rimmed cars tires, houses????… Again, not a damn thing.
