I use to love lil kim but everytime I see her now it makes me feel embarrassed for her. She is the epitome of self hate. From her bleached skin to her fake nose, chin, cheeks…I mean I know she did the surgury to look more exotic but it didnt work she looks more like monkey to me then anything else….I’m so happy i’m comfortable in my own black skin cuz I would hate to be going through what she is mentally.

Lil Kim is looking more and more like the cat lady. I would hate to see her 20 years from now. I don’t blame her entirely because I also put blame on this industry for telling these people that they have to look a certain way in order to make it in that business (bleached skin, nose jobs, etc…) I also blame black people for this light skin/dark skin nonsense and this attitude that the lighter shade is more superior.
Lastly, I put blame on the European ancestry for brainwashing black people into thinking that blonde and blue eyes with fair skin is the most beautiful woman. Of course many of us know that’s not true but it’s sad that people like Lil Kim actually do.

kim needs to save the $ she’s been spending on all this surgery and buy herself a psychologist. There’s nothing wrong with trying to “maintain” but she is CLEARLY beyond that point. What she represents is what too many of us have fed into – the idea that we aren’t good enough – our hair isn’t straight enough, our skin isn’t light enough. It’s crazy that we buy into the self-hate promoted by people that would love to keep us down. Love yourself people! please! the reason why people try to keep us down is because we pose a very real threat. I would love to see us come together more like this event.
