Halle Berry joins the list of celebs to bring on their own fragrances. The actress, who was recently voted the sexiest woman alive, premiered her perfume at an exclusive unveiling in New York recently:
“We call Halle my second baby,” she says, “because that’s really all I’ve been working on for the past two years.”…
And it’s a flavor she hopes men will appreciate as much as women. “I want women to feel that their partners, that special person thinks they smell beautiful, thinks that it’s simple enough that they can ingest it all day, every day. That’s what Gabriel said,” she adds, of her boyfriend Gabriel Aubry’s take on her signature scent. “He said it smells like that — he better be right!” read more

DESIGN A DRESS FOR MARIAH
All you designers get your sketch pads ready – in celebration of her new fragrance Luscious Pink, Mariah Carey is holding an online competition that asks you to design a new pink dress for her.
The singer will select her favorite design that you must submit online, and three copies of the winning dress will be made – one for Mariah, one for the winner, and one to auction off to benefit Breast Cancer Awareness.

All we doing is putting more money in their pockets and their children to have even more things in life. What about our own children. Bet alot of people will like the Halle fragrance. Especially if it has anything to do with her style, she can’t go wrong. I think the city slipper will do well. Pricey for a shoe add on @ $95. That is why I like the Cole Haan brand, it has a non slip sole also, but the city slipper can be used on any heels you have.
Okay I am really having a why didn’t I think of that moment, that is perfect, I am always worried about my heals getting wet when I am heading to and from work or just going out and I hate carrying an extra bag for my shoes. Its HOT!!!

The city slipper can kiss my ass @95 dollas. PPl are so extra with the pricing of their goods. Gas has skyrocketed and now some thong disguised as a shoe cover is 95 dollas. Get the hell out of here. They would make more money if they brought the price down. Please ladies do not buy this 95 dolla shoe cover to put over 60 dolla shoes. It’s not that serious. Nobody is checking for water marks on your shoes.
If you’re scared of slipping then take them to a shoe repair store where they will add a new sole with more traction onto your shoe. I had some shoes that were slippery and the shoe repair shop hooked me up for 12 dollars and no one is the wiser. This goes to show that ppl will buy any damn thing. I love my shoes too but I refuse to be anybody’s fool when it comes to my money.

So many have done it now…Sarah Jessica Parker (has one of my favorite fragrances out “LOVELY”), Mariah Carey, Ashanti, Beyonce, P DIDDY, Usher, Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and I am sure I missed a few…and along comes Halle Berry with her new scent…
Listen instead of buying these celebrities line of Fragrances…why not create your own unique signature scent. Stores like The Body Shope will infuse select oils that appeal to your particular liking, combine them and VOILA!! your very own beautiful fragrance…or “manly” fragrance just like the CELEBS! same process except the Celebs have theirs diluted with alcohol (Eu De Toilet) most times that by the time you step outside the air takes it away LOL!
If I am going to wear a Famous name on my body as far as FRAGRANCE goes it will have to be a REAL FASHION ICONs Fragrance like my all time FAVORITE–”MOSCHINO”. I been wearing fragrances by MOSCHINO for years & years.

Well I think it’s nice of Mariah to actually involve her fans in her work. Mariah is always giving others the opportunity to showcase their talents. She also held a contest for a best remix. At least she is giving an opportunity to an unknown designer. I don’t see anyone else doing that. So yeah, everyone that hates how she dresses…obviously you know better so then you all should enter.
I may not agree with all of Halle’s decisions, but I have to admit that when she displays class, she is a class act. The rest of our actresses and singers could afford to take a look at how she dresses. I know this is about a fragrance, but look at how classy she’s even dressed in this photo. She never disappoints, and I know her fragrance will not either.
The city slippers are a good idea…but a bit too overpriced I think, that is the price of a pair of shoes! But I guess their target market probably spends $200+ on shoes anyways, so it makes sense. I just don’t think any of the shoes I currently own would be destroyed by a little rain…but I do like that it keeps you from slipping on the wet cement.

It may not be an original idea, but her legendary name, along with her recent “Sexiest Woman Alive” status will catapult the fragrance to the top. I think it’s a smart business move. There’s nothing wrong with securing more finances for herself and her family as long as there is a target audience for it.
Same thing for the shoe slipper. Personally I wear cute rainboots to work when it’s raining outside and have my work shoes in my bag. I know some divas who rock the stilettos in any weather and my hat goes off, but if I don’t have to I don’t wear my good heels on the concrete.
Good luck with the dress idea. I’ve never been a big fan of Mariah’s fashion, but I give her respect for being in the game so many years. And she still has an amazing voice.
