Everybody is loving designing duo Dsquared2′s Fall 2008 Flash Pump. After premiering the shoe during their Fall/Winter runway show earlier this year, I fell in love with it mostly because of the cool lightening heel (that is said to be a little over 5 inches).
Rihanna wore a boot version in her music video for “Take A Bow”, as well as the red lightning bolted heel ‘Flash 2′ pump. Actress Eva Mendes had all eyes on her heels when she wore them at the premiere of the film “The Women”, and most recently – Beyonce rocks a pair in the November issue of Essence magazine.

Some of you people are so ridiculous. This is a post about shoes and you guys are still arguing about these ladies. How old are you? It doesn’t matter who wore them first and who has money because at the end of the day the majority of stars who wear these expensive things are given these items to market for the designers. These ladies are probably cool in the background of things laughing at the foolish people that sit and argue about. Stans for Beyonce and Rihanna keep both of them paid regardless so they enjoy you guys doing what you do.
Shoes are cute but I wouldn’t buy them. The lightning bolt is not creative, seems more like designers are running out of ideas. First the hideous gun shoes now this lightening bolt. Just not my style. I’ll take a regular heel that won’t give me weak ankles when I get older.
