Check out the first single from T-Pain’s new group, Sophia Fresh. Hailing from Houston, Texas and Atlanta, Crystal, Cole Rose and Skye make up the new trio that is currently signed to Atlantic Records.
Skye and Cole Rose signed their first major deal with J Records through Underdog Entertainment in 2005. Although the partnership didn’t work out as planned, the girls got under the wing of T-Pain and added their third member, Crystal. Their official first single, “What It Is” features none other than Kanye West, so the label must really believe in what these girls can do. So you know we gotta ask what you think…

It’s like the next top pop group or whatever that show is, add 1 part N.E.R.D., 2 parts Karmaloop and just a pinch of TLC. This synthesized electro stuff is SO played out to me now….OMG i just listened to it and where’s the talent?? There was once this 3 part girl group, that was once four, that wore retardedly coordinating outfits and sang gimmicky songs. But at least they could sing. This is unbelievable. Earlier this year Ciara announced that her album Fantasy Ride would be split into 3 discs representing mid-tempos , ballads and high energy dance songs. One disc was called Crunktown, the other Groove City and the final disc would be called Kingdom of Dance.

AND TO ADD… How can you put this group anywhere near TLC. The guys behind this one should stop thinking about the quick fix this group MIGHT give them by selling maybe a TShirt or two, and start thinking about finding someone with Longevity!
