Beyonce is looking gorgeous on the cover of Instyle magazine’s November issue. Accompanied by a photo shoot, the singer/actress talked about her style, favorite red carpet looks, and must have beauty and accessory items.
In other Beyonce news, Rap-up.com revealed Beyonce’s next two singles off her upcoming November 18th release I Am…, which will be the Ryan Tedder produced track “Halo” for pop radio and the urban banger “Ego” produced by Elvis “BlacElvis” Williams and Harold Lilly (Alicia Keys’ “You Don’t Know My Name”).

On her latest look:
“I was going to do the shorter hair [for her new album] that I had when I performed with Tina Turner at the Grammys earlier this year, which I loved. But I’ve decided to wear my hair straight instead. I’ve had so many different hairstyles, and I don’t want this project to be about my hair. With my makeup, I was doing a lot of liquid liner before. Now I’m into a gold smoky eye and natural-tone lip.”
On her favorite designers:
“Alexander McQueen and Jean Paul Gaultier are two designers I love right now. Their clothes are feminine, sexy and modern. I just went to the Giuseppe Zanotti showroom, and he had the most spectacular shoes. It was like being in a candy store—I was obsessed with every shoe! Right now, I love anything with a high platform.”
On her obsession with Chanel:
I am obsessed with vintage Chanel jewelry. I once bought all the Chanel pieces that were on display at an antiques store in New York.

Contrary to popular belief, black women do have hair on our heads and we not all of are dependent on hair weaves in order to look good. Please people act like Rihanna invented the short hair style. I have been rocking my hair short 10 plus years now. Toni and Halle made me want to cut my hair. Bee doesn’t have compete with Rihanna. Rihanna style mostly on point but talent wise Bee got her beat by miles.

Based on the facts, Beyonce can sing better than Rihanna, without a doubt. But in reality, she does have to compete with her for record sales. And that’s not necessarily based on solely talent, but overall appeal.
If consumers are more drawn to the mystique and unique style and sound of Rihanna than they are to the simplicity and classic presentation of Beyonce, then she will have to switch it up some more to claim that “icon” spot that she so much wants to possess.
Even though I do admire Beyonce and her work, I don’t think she will get there if she doesn’t mature within the content of her music … lyrically speaking, she’s on the same level as a lot of other artists out there.
She is def getting older and you can see it. But she looks flawless! I don’t know if she should do short hair, as much as short hair looks soooo fierce! The long, straight hair is her. Besides, it would be about her hair if she cuts it. Short hair stands out, and everyone would talk bout her hair instead of her album, I understand that!

And, yes, she is sooo copying Rihanna…Beyonce’s style is opulent prom dress, Elie Saab or Roberto Cavalli it is NOT however quirky and avant garde like Jean Paul Gaultier and McQueen. Not saying she hasn’t worn these designers before but those brands are so quintessentially RIHANNA. The wild, irreverent thing…describing those brands “feminine, sexy and modern” shows she’s not into them…She must have worn them in those promo pics that were released earlier this month…that’s what those super crazy looks were about…now she’s quintessentially as fashion forward and cheeky as Rihanna, huh? Always trying to be something she’s not, man. Or better yet–something somebody else already is!
She is not looking old she is maturing, that’s what you do when you age. Her mature look is beautiful, with the not so much makeup.
