LYFE JENNINGS ARRESTED; RELEASED
R&B singer Chester “Lyfe” Jennings was arrested Sunday night in Smyrna, Georgia, after police say he fired a gun in the street while looking for the mother of his children. He then led the authorities on a car chase that ended in a crash and his arrest. The singer posted $50,000 bond on Monday night.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Jennings, 35, was attempting to locate the mother of his children, Joy Pound, when he allegedly kicked in the door of a house in Smyrna and later fired a gun in the street. Corporal Milton Lane of the Smyrna Police Department told MTV News that when police arrived on the scene to respond to the shots fired in what they believed was a domestic dispute, they witnessed a red 2005 Corvette leaving the address.

Before launching his music career, Jennings began a 10-year prison sentence on a felony arson charge in 1992 at age 19.

Im shocked @ Lyfe, after all the good inspirational songs he’s put out, he’s gonna act like this? I guess sometimes we forget that they are human too, but firing a gun though?

Ciara’s awesome - i cant wait for fantasy ride!! its gonna be AWESOME - how can ya’ll try to even think that christina millian, cassie, terria marrie, and all those other flops are on ciara’s level? Ciara’s been gone for a lil while but both her albums were number 1 triple platinum selling albums - she’s got 20 awards under her belt and a grammy; she’s an executive producer, director, songwriter,choreographer,dancer,singer, actress,etc - those chicks are NOwhere to be found when it comes to bein at ciara’s level - FANTASY RIDE 09 ya’ll!!!
