Everybody looks GREAT, WOW, this is one of the few times I have ever said that about a celeb event. The only thing I feel that Cover Girl is NOT quite working for the Queen, and that J-Hud needs to take posing classes. Everyting else - all good.

Alicia is in NY, promoting the film.

She appeared on “The Today Show” and “Regis and Kelly” yesterday.
Today, she’ll be on “106 & Park” and the “Conan O Brien” show.
Tomorrow, I think that she’ll be on “The Early Show”.

Then, starting this Friday, she’ll be starting the last leg of her tour—which will go on until this December.

So, the chick has been very busy, but I love her dedication and passion for this film.

I read in an interview that she basically begged the studio and the director for her part in the movie. She said that they didn’t think that she was right for the part, at first, but she stayed persistent and they ended up giving her the part without her even auditioning.

Even so, the critics have said that Alicia does a great job in the film; so it’s a good thing that the filmmakers took a chance on her.

I for one, cannot WAIT to see this movie! Its one of my favorite books, and I think the cast is incredible, and will bring this book to life, and do it some justice.
