I’m sure I’m going to purchase this album, but for the life of me…I can’t get excited about it. If she’s truly taken risks with her sound, I am proud of her. She stuck with the same formula for far too long, while all of her peers have branched out and evolved. I am curious about what jer new single will sound like, but the video shots and presumable context of the song don’t seem very cutting-edge. Say what you will about Rihanna, but that woman has a flare and versatility that keeps her interesting-tjose are gonna be some hard black patent leather stilletos to fill. Besides, I think Britney Spears has begun totally dominating the 4th quarter music interest (when it comes to female singers). This is all going to be thrilling to watch unfold.

I find it amazing that so many black women on here and elsewhere get all defensive when other people label you as “angry black women”, have “black woman drama” and jealous of Beyonce and successful black women, but despite all this you ACT OUT THE EXACT SAME SHIT. There’s also the obvious element of a lot of black women being jealous of Beyonce (though they will probably deny it). If you don’t like her, fine, but they way you losers attack her for what her clothes, hair and skin color sicken me. Hating on light skinned brothers and sisters is just as much self hatred as it to bash dark skinned folks (I’m dark skinned myself). Willie Lynch is still playing a mind trick on you imbeciles. It’s no wonder African Americans are at the bottom of the barrell. We care too much about unecessary shit and being sad and miserable all the time, thinking about celebrities’ lives. Other black communities like Africans and West Indians have risen ahead of us too. A lot of the newer minority groups in America who’ve not even been in this country half as long as us are doing better. There’s so much HATE and NEGATIVITY to our own people that we can’t move ahead in life. Beyonce is not your leader, so stop talking about her like she is. She doesn’t run your life, and you aren’t paying her taxes.

My thing is this I have both of beyonce cds and my favorite was the first one, the second one was just ok got tired of it after a while. But I believe that she’s just an ok singer. Jazmine Sullivan, Tamia, Debroah Cox, and Alicia Keys sound way better. I feel as if the real singers that don’t shake their butt or half naked don’t get much respect while I hate to be mean but she does that on stage and in some of her videos. But it’s like this love her or hate her it’s your own opinion….

Not so much this time around. Chanel and Roland Meret (two highly esteemed fashion houses) has become her choice of rags these days. Paired with neat and elegant buns or wind swept tresses… ugh. Jackie-O appeal all day - ICONIC.

This girl knows. And she is very much so on the road to conquer.

This next album is sure to solidify her as the ICON that she is….
