I’ve never heard of a tour where you have 2 artists featured on the bill but only one performs on the “main stage”. I have seen one perform and the other close out but this seems weird to me. I’m not sure that Solange being cast off to some secondary obscure stage where people will have to gain access to AFTER the Beyonce show is going to be a power move for her…

The only reason Britney’s “Womanizer” is number one on the Hot 100 charts is due to the huge amount Itune downloads of the song cause really it hasnt got a whole ton of radio play.
Thats also how Rihanna got alot of her #1’s. Due to the amount of downloads she gets.
If you look at the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the Itunes 100 chart, their almost identical. Meaning a song’s position on Itunes can have an affect on where it will be on the Hot 100 charts.
So Beyonce being in the #2 on Itunes is huge whether you like it or not.
Plus, “If I Were A Boy” is get major radio play. Add that to the amount of downloads she is sure to get by the end of the week, the song is sure to be a Top Ten hit if not that then a Top five hit on the Billboard Hot 100.

Really, what happened to the times when people were not obsessed with what the celebrity was wearing and they mainly concentrated on the fact that a good song is a good song?

Truly, I do not care for much of these artist that are currently out, because I know that much of this music will not last. Yeah, at a party it will be great but at home, with your spouse, kids?

People forget that blogs are blogs and on it is not the opinion of the entire world. When there is a Beyonce post there are lets say 300 comments, people dont take into consideration that there maybe only be 100 people commenting but leaving double or triple comments which makes up 300, so technically she is not getting as many people commenting as it may seem.
Outside of blogs people can care less about what Beyonce is doing because there are more things to be concerned with like finances or healthcare. Most people that I talk to in “real life” dont even like Beyonce and thinks her songs are annoying but kids, tweens, teens, gays and early adults are the one’s selling her concerts out or buying her records….adults that I know are listening to Jill Scott, E. Badu, or 70’s/80’s music.
There is not a balance in music, kids think that Beyonce is the greatest thing because they dont see anyone else doing it performing like her, only her. Back in the day in one era there was Tina Turner, Diana Ross, Chaka Khan, Patti & Labelle’s, and Michael Jackson so people had choices and not one person was monopolizing the music industry….and there was real competition.

So now since Bey has the opp. to grace the covers of mainstream mags, get endorsement deals, and be invited to sing and perform at shows, she does right not to take any of that for granted. That industry is NOT easy for Beyonce - who is an African American woman. She is constantly being compared and critizied by not only whites, but blacks as well and more so by blacks because, we are so jealous of each other and hateful and spiteful. If the truth be told, if most of the posters had the opp. to change places with Bey - you would in a heart beat. This woman has been truly blessed and she is NOT proud about it, she is very humbled in spirit and grateful. She has a loving family, a husband who loves her, a great career and maybe children on the way, so what more can anyone ask for? Bey gives 1 million percent to her fans when she performs, when her fans wanted her to make an album in spanish, she did just that - she didn’t have to do it to sell records because, B-day sold very well in the US and oversees, she did it because she appreicates her fans because, they are the ones who help her to get to where she is. Even if you dont’ like Bey, please give credit to where it is due and Beyonce surely does deserve more credit than she has been given esp. by her own people.
