I love Brandy. All her albums have been good with an exception of a sub par album “Full Moon”. I think the push back is good for Brandy and isn’t because Beyonce’s album is coming out is because the song she did with Darkchild isn’t a strong first single so she might have to reconsider a second single that is banging.

Ginuwine’s music hasn’t been the same since he left Timbaland. I’m sorry but “The Bachelor” and “100% Ginuwine” are classics. Everything he put out ever that sounded like a bunch of albums with failed attempts to recreate a new style since he parted ways with Timbaland. Sorry I’m not really interested in Ginuwine until he releases a hot single that will get me interested again.

Congrats to T.I. I’m sorry but I’ve never been a fan of his albums. I heard “Urban legend”, “King”, “I’m Serious”, Trap Muzik” and T.I. Vs. Tip and still can’t get with this dude lol.

Man I swear I totally agree you with you @Tia. Every post they have about Brandy maybe 75% of the comments are negative. She is not the type of artist that you going to give you what every one else is doing. Her music is pure and original. Brandy stated in an interview that she is not in the game this time for competition. She got her grammy for the Boy is Mine, she had the number one singles, she was a Cover Girl and had the TV shows. Brandy purposely said that she came back to make music for her fans because this what WE (The Fans) deserve. Beyonce seems to always get brought up with her because Brandy had that success at one point but nevertheless the single is 67 on Hot 100 and 23 on R&B and gradually going on. People do not know real music I swear it aint ass shaking or over a rap beat it aint music

Toni Braxton, I HOPE she goes far in DWTS. It may not be everyone’s thing, but it’s sure to get her back some mainstream exposure, again. She doesn’t need to go into the hip hop market again.

All she needs is a HOT comeback single, and plenty of promotion by the label. Everyone always refers to Mariah’s “We Belong Together” as something so good the radio’s got no choice but to play it. Ms Braxton needs to put all her time and efforts into making stuff her long-terms fans wanna hear.

I’m disappointed but I’m not mad….it seems like the more singles you put out the better you do when the album come out anyway, Jazmine Sullivan’s first single went to 31 on the charts and her album did poorly, but Mary J and Mariah put out 2 or 3 singles before their “comeback” CD was released and they did well….so I’m still hopeful. But I’m very ready for it to be released though, I need some Brandy!

I agree with #!1. It’s unfortunate that most labels are fearing Beyonce…but, regardless, that single “Departed” gets NO airplay here in Maryland. None whatsoever. I think 92q in Bmore has played it a total of three times since it was dropped. Heck, they have played Ciara’s new single more times than Brandy’s

When people hear Brandy’s new single, Long Distance, they will understand why the label wanted to wait. That song reminds me of how beautiful Jordan Sparks’ “No Air” is. Has a bit of country flavor with pure R&B emotion. IT WILL SHUT SHIT DOWN!!!!! Plus, haven’t people noticed that labels have developed a formula with these artists?? Midtempo singles first to create buzz then knock people out with a beautiful slow jam. Brandy will be fine.
