Julia Hudson eldest sister of Jennifer Hudson gave a press conference with Greg King, the biological father of Julian King at Pleasant Gift Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago on Saturday. The former couple were pleading for the safe return of their son.
Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, and brother, Jason Hudson, were shot to death Friday in their home. The child, Julian King, has been missing since. Rumors circulated the internet on Friday saying that Julia was missing, but that was not the case.
Police issued an Amber Alert for Julian and asked residents to look out for a 1994 white Chevrolet Suburban with Illinois license plate X584859. Julian is described as being 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. He was wearing a striped brown polo shirt and khaki pants when last seen, authorities said in the Amber Alert.
According to reports, suspect, William Balfour was taken into custody Friday for questioning. His mother, Michele Davis-Balfour insists that he is innocent.

I don’t even know how a person could deal with such tragedy. One death is bad enough but 2 plus a missing child? I just hope that the Hudson family can dig deep for strength and lean on each other through this.

I was shocked when I heard the news today. I was just thinking about J-Hud and all of her success. Every time I turn on the t.v. I see her (new engagement, new movie, new album, interviews with Queen & A. Keys). It shows how you can be on top of the world one day, but a totally different story the next.
I don’t know what to say. I have know idea what that feels like. I pray that God will comfort her and the family.

@24 an @26, I feel you. He was violent and a jail bird before she met him. I bet this nut got with her around the time Jennifer was becoming famous. His thieving, criminal mind knew how to keep it on the DL until he got where he wanted. This is why people are not insane when they do these crimes, their plotting behinds know what they are doing and he knew how to get a gun when he know he wasn’t suppose to have one. Too many women get with anybody to apease others so that no one will think they can’t get a man. Well, either they let that guy out of jail or someone is on his myspace, because he logged on October 26th. Prior to that he hadn’t logged in since June. I just wish he’d be the “man” he “think” he is, and tell Julian’s mother where he is and face the consequences. I have to cosign with those who say we need to have higher standards. There’s nothing attractive about a thug. Reading his profile made me sick to the stomach. He has absolutely nothing going for him. Too often, we (as people) choose a mate because we don’t want to be alone. He’s on parole for some type of murder for Christ sakes. As someone who actually worked in the parole field, let me be the first one to tell you – most (not all) of the guys on parole for serious crimes like that don’t change. They’re abusive on all levels and are just waiting to snap at any moment. I can’t count the number of times I’ve had women come into the office saying they’ve been abused by their man. They’ll write a report, we’ll get a warrant for them, have them arrested, and guess who’s calling me up begging me to “please let him out” and “I want to retract my report…I love him?” You guessed it, the battered woman. We have got to do better. We need to start validating our own kids (both boys and girls) so they won’t be looking for love and acceptance in all the wrong places. This is a tragedy indeed and my thoughts and prayers will be with the family.

Whoever did this has a heart. The child must have been a witness, so instead of killing Julian they kidnapped him. I feel he is alive. If the person was ruthless they’d kill the child on the spot. I pray they find him alive and well and unharmed. This person isn’t that cruel i’m assuming.

I stopped watching Nancy Grace for that same reason you stated, after I heard about Jennifer’s nephew I turned it their to see if she was covering it and nope she wasn’t.
On a side note: Nancy is on Headline News and I think CL wanted people to actually go to CNN (there two different stations). They are sister stations.
