He should’ve left the country when he got off the first time. He knew he was a damn target of white America, and that they wouldn’t rest until he went down. All this talk about how we should be upset another black man is going to jail is bull$%^&. The fact is, black white or otherwise, any man or woman can make decisions that determine the amount of respect they get and the type of life they lead. I am sick of people saying we should support good for nothing people because they’re black. It’s a sad cop out and only fuels the white people’s animosity towards us even more. In this case you also need to understand the law… he is not being given life due to the nature of this particular crime but OJ has been tried as a felon in other cases and in another convicted for a crime. It’s considered repeat offense and the judge has the right to give you the maximum sentence if you are considered as such.

WOW is all I can say after reading these comments. I think Judah and Angie Who both had a lot of interesting and valid points. Yes O J should have learned his lesson and he committed a crime this time that they could get him with so they were going to convict him either way I thought from the beginning. Wether or not he committed that crime 13 years ago none of us know for sure but we do know he was found innocent so that should be a dead issue. I just feel like life was wrong when as someone else said we have had so many Sean Bell and Rodney King cases wear the sometimes racist or crooked white men walk away scott free and do the white people chastise them no it’s always eventually swept under the rug and forgotten. While i’m not saying O J shouldn’t pay in some kind of way we all know this sentence is to harsh. And I understand it happens everyday to regular black men which is also wrong but they were not the subject OJ was.
