I wanted to go so bad to the Obama rally down her in Orlando today….I’m encouraging everyone to vote early. Also do whatever you can to help make sure that others vote as well, take a friend to the polls, help form a shuttle service taking people to and from voting polls. We need everyone’s efforts in this election.

Hey FOLX! I voted TODAY! If you have moved since the last election(s), you will be required to completed a “statement of residence” green card. Be sure to return the completed card to a polling volunteer prior to leaving the polling station. I attempted to give my card to a “white” volunteer and he would not accept it. I asked if I needed to mail it in myself or what? He said, “yea.” So, in my car, I read the card. It stated that the green card was to be included with my ballot in envelope #4 to be submitted by the prencint jude to be turned in to the registrar’s office. Now see, had I not read that, my vote would not have been counted!
Please pay attention to all tactics that some polling locations may try to disqualify your vote! I watched the SNL episode with Palin this weekend! I must admit, it made for good comedy! However, not sure it’ll help her!

I just signed up to work as an election protection attorney on the day of the election, I’m so elated to finally give back to those who have died for my right to vote. I cannot wait. For attorneys, those with law degrees/ paralegals, or in law school check the obama campaign site or contact your local election board (if you want to neutrally become involved) and give a few hours to ensuring that everyone no matter what their decision will be this Nov. will have their right to vote secured.
