While the Bush administration was negotiating an agreement to keep the U.S. military in Iraq, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama tried to convince Iraqi leaders that the president shouldn’t be allowed to do so without congressional approval, reports the Washington Times.
Two weeks after claiming the Democratic presidential nomination in June, Obama began conversing with Iraqi leaders and sparked controversy whether it was appropriate for a presidential candidate to contact foreign governments in which the current president is presently at odds.
Iraqi leaders say Obama urged them to delay an agreement with Bush until next year. The Obama campaign denies the claim, but admits a conversation did occur.
“In the conversation, the senator urged Iraq to delay the [memorandum of understanding] between Iraq and the United States until the new administration was in place,” said Samir Sumaidaie, Iraq’s ambassador to the United States.
He said Mr. Zebari replied that any such agreement would not bind a new administration. “The new administration will have a free hand to opt out,” he said the foreign minister told Mr. Obama.
An Obama spokesperson denied last month’s NY Post’s article that he had asked Iraqi leaders to delay any agreement on a reduction of U.S. troops until the next president takes office.
PALIN SAYS OBAMA NOT TELLING THE TRUTH

On Thursday, Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin attacked Sen. Barack Obama for not being honest about his association with William Ayers.
On Laura Ingraham’s conservative radio show, Palin said:
“Barack Obama hasn’t told the American people the total truth about that, about his association with Ayers. Doggonit, he fails to tell the American people with candor and with truthfulness what his associations are and we have to know.”
Palin added that Obama would diminish “the prestige of the United States presidency”. Funny, I thought George W. Bush did a great job of that.
“What does it say when Barack Obama says he would sit down unconditionally with Ahmadinejad, Kim Jong Il and others, unconditionally, and I guess sort of hand over some of the prestige of the United States presidency and validate, I think validate, some of the positions that these dictators have taken.
Barack Obama is so far out of mainstream America. And the policies I fear that he would support, that are so far left, that are maybe today in the campaign are packaged up to look real pretty and mainstream, they are not.”
During an interview with ABC, Obama said the McCain was trying to score “cheap political points”:
“I’ll repeat again what I’ve said many times. This is a guy who engaged in some despicable acts 40 years ago when I was eight years old. By the time I met him, 10 or 15 years ago, he was a college professor of education at the University of Illinois.
The notion that somehow he has been involved in my campaign, that he is an adviser of mine, that . . . I’ve ‘palled around with a terrorist’, all these statements are made simply to try to score cheap political points.”
…NEITHER IS SHE
While responding to a question whether it was true that the U.S. was shipping 75 percent of its Alaskan oil overseas, Sarah Palin said it was impossible since Congress had put strict bans on the amount of oil and gas that America could export.
The woman who, according to John McCain, “knows more about energy than probably anyone in the United States of America” should know that no Alaska(!) oil has been exported since 2004, and little if any since 2000.
Congress has never outright imposed bans on oil exports. It prohibited exports of Alaska oil in 1973 when the Alaskan oil pipeline was built. However, when there were large volumes of Alaska oil and U.S. demand lessened, the ban was lifted. The ban for Alaska has never been reinstated.
Palin also previously declared that as governor of Alaska, she oversaw nearly 20 percent of the U.S. domestic supply of oil and gas. Alaska is the ninth largest energy supplier in the U.S. and accounts for 3.5 percent of the nation’s total energy production.

if the GOP steals this one, i’ll surrender to the fact that idiots helm this country.
Here’s the link the story on Sarah Palin’s Alaska Independence Party association:

To be honest, I’ve been noticing that A LOT of Obama supportersDO NOT like to admit when he is wrong or when he did something that wasn’t so great. Instead you all call McCain these childish names and claim him and Palin to be “liers”. Which yes, they haven’t been 100% truthful but neither has Obama. It comes across as ignorant. Obama has been affiliated with many people that we wouldn’t approve of but you all try to brush it aside or defend it in someway. Just let it go, Obama is not an angel, so yes, he will make mistakes but y’all have to be able to notice it for yourselves.
And I really want people to answer me:
If Obama was white, would you react the same way?

We can’t afford to sit on the sidelines…too much is at stake!
Obama ’08
concrete loop needs to keep to the glitzy photos of celebrities and gossip. Is this post on Obama meant to convince voters of some sort of conspiratorial agenda? Now that all of the world markets are failing, does this mean we are one step closer to having one world market and one world currency.

I have absolutely nothing to say to ANYONE that supports McCain and his current behavior, nothing other than you HAVE to be as full of shit as he is. You have to either be a redneck, a bigot, an elitist, or just PLAIN DAMN STUPID
J.Dakar
Please do a post on the hate rallies that are storming McCain’s campaign. Those crazy retarded white folks are calling for the murder of Barack Obama, claiming he’s a socialist, and that he’s a terrorist.
The absurdity of this nation. Republican Party has become the New KKK. John McCain is the Grand ole White Wizard and Sarah Palin is the White Queen of Insanity.
@Dukesman2000 i seen that ish his names James T Harris im out of Milwaukee, they aired that coonery on the news here.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions. But um… I’d rather take a chance on something new than to live under the same regime we’ve been living under. Americans are inheritantly racist. So you have to expect people to be uncomfortable with an name like Barak Obama. But on the other hand just the blantant disregard and lack of respect thrown at this man is absurd. Granted opinions differ. But you havent heard Obama’s Campaign make racist remarks. (if he did point it out). I wont play the race card and say that white people arent comfortable, because there are some black, hispanic, asian whatever creed that arent comfortable. We automatically pass judgement on this man because of what name was given to him. Nothing on his accomplishments, automatically he has subversive ties. Whether it be the Weather Underground, Shi’ite Fundamentalist, Fat Chicks For Bigger Bras (lol) or whom ever. We are taught to pass judgement without being thorough. I support Obama for his Ideals and how he thinks. Its time for the Good ol Boys to retire and spend some of the money they’ve been embezzling for all these years. Maybe it will help the ecomony…. All im saying is right about now, the old ways of government aint working.. it’s time for new blood.. Besides John McCain aint too far from Dementia and Sarah Palin aint the sharpest knife in the butcher shop & she takes in too much oxygen….9airhead)
@ McCainSupporter:
Let me guess, you’re a white Republican posing as a Black person who supports McCain? Do you get paid per post that you make on blog sites?
ACORN has been around LONG before anyone knew who Barack Obama was. The GOP has been attacking this organization for a long time, because they advocated for the poor and disenfranchised, and these groups often support Democratic candidates. Now they are trying to use ACORN to smear Obama and they’re calling the organization “radical”; any group that advocates for the poor is automatically radical according to Republicans. Obama poses the biggest threat to Republican victory in November, and they are using whatever they can to cut Obama’s support, especially among working class Whites who don’t take the time to research the truth and take everything Republicans say as being truthful.
I’m sorry but Palin is a fuc*ing bimbo puppet. Period. And her voice irks the shit out of me!
Seems like everyone likes taking digs at each other. SMH. It does seem like the Democrats are always getting ‘picked on’, but thenagain I am for Obama.
@ MANDY
Let me help you, it’s ok. First you have to have 270 votes to win. Now if neither person gets 270 it goes to congress. I know for a fact that in at least 20 states congress is require to vote IAW the majority of the state thus bring us to who ever has the most vote will win. Yes people can be in the Milltary and be against abortion. I think you are try to be funny. I’ll sleep on it and see if it’s funnier later. If you can t feed your family didnt go to college you better be cut out. Like I said the are hiring if any body want to get on I can make that happen for. I’m here to help and the Milltary hires more than soldiers boo. We have just as many civilian jobs as soldier jobs. dont knock it until you try it. http://www.usajobs.com
@ MYPOV
You are so right ACORN was around way before Obama but the fact still remain that this is a group that in spite of being for minorty is part of the Fannie mae swift morgages that cause so many people to lose their homes. lets be real You would not co sign a loan or give a loan to a person who had no way to pay for it. No down payment and projected( made up) income. So why would a group who is for the people steer folks to this. These are not people who dont know better. Educated were where going out and tell people you don t need to be able to offer it now just get the house and worry about cost of living later. Obama worked to aquire earmarks for the group even after if was proving that they as a group were into shaded practices. I just wonder who much of that money went to the south side of Chi-town with ACORN now having to make payroll and all. He was there lawyer to help them fend of regulation and charges of harrassment of bank works who refuse to give loan to unquilfied people. Now to be fair when it and companies first started it did do some good things , but now it’s about money. these are now people who are paid to put folks in homes by any means. Plus this mess with voter rregstration is silly. I thin with the exception of soldiers oversees and the handicap everyone should have to go to the county clerk and regster themselves. Lets at least be honest if nothing else.
and just in case you didnt know the first bail out bill included money for ACORN. part of the reason it didnt pass. Why do they spend as much money on campagins as they do help efforts. Lots of non profits do it with out endorsing people.
JA, America’s the best thing going? I beg to differ. I lived in japan for many years and to say they hate black people is a fallacy. Some of my closest friends are Japanese and a few I consider more like family. I’ve talked to a lot of Americans white and blacks alike that say they would never want to raise their family’s in the US. So, to say America is gold–especially the ones that haven’t been anywhere outside the US is a scare tactic to keep people close minded about other countries.
@McCain Supporter
I feel you on so many levels but you have to understand that some people dont think about Folks fighting for them. They dont care that National Guard (soldier) help intergate schools. Or John McCain risk his life to keep the fighting over there. People dont understand that everytime our nation was attacked by another nation we had low milltary numbers. And if we would have been paying more attention to the the conflict growing in the Mid East, which we were doing before Clinton, 9/11 may have never happened. It didnt take two years to plan 9/11 it took years so many years that John Kerry ( a soldier ) told clinton Bin Laden is up to something. I believe this was 98.
Let them haggle and vote for who ever they want, We know that who ever wins this will still be America. Just pray and keep it moving.
@ PhillyJawn
they are nice to black people in Japan, but try to get citzenship there. you can live there all you want but deal with the government, talk to the older people, they know of us what they see in movie and by what goes on in Africa. How many Black American VP are in company out of Japan. I have read of at least two white.
And My point is if you dont like it here and want to leave please do so. Many have done it. Dont be all talk if you not proud to be american go tough it out some where else. if you find a better life I wish you the best. Why do you think people keep cominf here on”vacations ” and never leave. No other nation allows more and request so little of its people.
Both Ja and Reg gave great explanations of their views. This is what America is based on.
However, I’ma have to agree with Reg only because Ja’s views are from a personal point of view. Everyone doesn’t have the same views nor are best served by joining the miliary. That’s certainly not the answer for the masses.
Anyway, McCain and Palin are pulling out all the stops as a last ditch effort to discredit Obama and Biden. May the best candidates win! Obama 2008 BIAOTCHES! J/K….yall know what I mean!
Obama is correct when he says that there will be change. Even at its basic level doing anything else than what has been going on for the past 8 years is change.
So I have read everything and already know that I am voting for Obama because I believe he is best for our country to move forward in the world arena and to rise from the mess that has been the last 8 years. I have followed McCain’s campaign and I simply don’t agree with his views, negativity and underhanded tactics. Ja while I have not served in the military, I know several people that have and I am contracted under the military. I support our troops but I also believe that we need to rebuild and people are not going join a military that is being ran ragged and whose mental stability is not being protected. I also know when you become a solider you follow orders because that is the whole entire basis, but I don’t believe in lying to troops and having them die for personal gain.
America is selfish to an extent, but within the grand scheme of things more people are caring about more than themselves and voting on issues that may not even effect them. Telling people to vote on issues that only effect them is a ridiculous statement simply because everything effects you whether you know it or not. Thought some issues may not effect me now, who is to say where my life will be in a few years. Just make sure you make informed decisions.
All i have to say is Obama is getting my vote on Nov.4th and thats final
CL, you’re quoting the Washington Times, lawd, that paper is so right-wing and in the tank for McCain…pleeze. Nothing they say hold any weight with me.
And old Palin, as Barack said, “if you’re going to lie about me, I’m going to have to tell the truth about you!!” She really needs to back up now that she’s been found to have abused her power as governer (which violates Alaska ethics laws). All this negative talking she’s been doing has now come and hit her on her doorstop.
Guess what, Palin was found guilty of abusing her power as governor, but they said technically she did not break any “federal laws.” So, McCain now has a Veep that not only has questionable credentials, but also has a questionable background. Oh yes we can.
Get the FACTS on ACORN here:

IF ANY OF YOU THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE EASY FOR ANY BLACK MAN TO BREAK THROUGH THIS CEILING AND TO TURN THE PAGES OF HISTORY FR THIS COUNTRY THEN YOU NEVER HAD A CLUE…THEY ARE NOT USING GUNS NOW THEY HAVE THE MEDIA AND ALL ITS ADVANCE TECHNOLOGY TODAY TO ASSASINATE A PERSONS CHARACTER…THIS IS THE WEAPON THEY ARE USING LIES…AS FOR SARA PALIN SHE IS A DISGRACE THE BODY OF CHRIST AND REAL WOMEN OF GOD…..SHE IS DISHONORING THE LORD AND HER ACTIONS ARE DIABOLICALLY OPPOSED TO GODS WORD AND HIS LOVE!!!!!!
YOU GUYS AND YOUR FAMILY NEED TO BE PRAYING AND REALIZE THESE ARE ALL TACTICS OF SATAN TO STEAL, KILL AND DESTROY AND TO STOP AND BLOCK OBAMAS PROGRESS..SATAN USES PEOPLE JUST LIKE GOD DOES!!!!!
LOVE EVERYBODY!!!!
VOTE “THE ONE ‘O8″
@ MYPOV
actually I’m white ( really has nothing to do with anything tho by being white that was raciest of u to bring that up by the way)!!! and NOT a republican nor dem. just someone that pays attention and states facts instead of LISTENING TO WHAT PUFF DADDY SAYS any normal person could LISTEN & UNDERSTAND what would happen if Obama were to become prez.. he has no experience WHATSOEVER that would be like putting a 15 yr old in the driver seat of a Nascar Race!! our country is way to Fucked up to have someone with his CORUPT TIES / ACORN, BILL AYERS, REV WRIGHT and so on!! Not to mention a record that shows doing the OPPOSITE of what he says!! like LOWERING TAX for middle class but when voted into the senate he votes 94 times PRO RAISING TAX!!! Obama would be NO CHANGE he would become another puppet for the CORUPT CONGRESS we have.. Listen I am very pro CHANGE but to say Obama is That is really not paying attention!! If We were to RAISE TAX on small business that would hurt 65% of america do u know how many jobs would be lost? That would only hurt middle class!! Thats an Obama CHANGE SOUNDS GREAT!! LOL McCain = LOWER TAX on Businesses that brings more expantion and more job opennings that sounds like something that would HELP MIDDLE CLASS??!! LAST u should really just pay more attention to the news & political shows before u tryin defend someone u knw NOTHING ABOUT!!! That would be smart for U as well as most AMERICANS!!!
Obama does have my vote. I’m not a fanatic and still see him as a politician – I do think his policies are solid and he is an optimistic figure that this country needs. He is smart and I also believe that he is compassionate and really is concerned about the struggles of the everyday man. But I think all political figures have shady connections, ALL of them, including Obama. I would love to see him in office – I think he deserves it, has run a more ethical campaign and has shown he has a cool head. I think calling him “The One” is a bit excessive, but I do believe he has the ability to turn this country around.
I wanna scratch Palins eyes out!
Oh, and for the record White Boy aka McCain supporter…. LISTENING AND UNDERSTANDING is not enough. Neither is going with everything you hear on tv. Some programming entities also show favor to certain candidates just like FOX news who openly ATTACK Obama and his family. Thus, their reporting is bias. So you must also READ and RESEARCH for your self.
Let’s start with this fact checker: http://politicalticker.bl....com/category/fact-check/
It will help you better understand how politicians coat the truth and embellish and flat out LIE just like Palin likes to do.
So stop listening to everything you hear and research and draw your own conclusions.
My grandma always says believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.
JA,
ACORN, just like any other organization, is not perfect. As for the bailout, let’s not forget about what eight years of George Bush has done to our economy, there is more than one side at fault for our current situation. And let’s be honest here, do you really think Republicans would care about what ACORN was doing unless they could somehow tie their actions to the Democratic party in order to gain support from voters. The attacks on ACORN are political, especially now since Republicans are scared to death of losing not only the White House, but several seats in the House of Reps. and Senate. Republicans should be the LAST group of people to talk about tampering with the Democratic process, right? They’re already trying to find ways to prevent people who are registered from voting (i.e. if your house is in foreclosure you can’t vote). These attempts at voter suppression are an effort to scare minorities and the poor away from the polls. And let’s not get into the tampering of electronic voting machines. Diebold, the company that supplies these machines, are big-time contributors to the RNC (Republican National Committee). They don’t want a landslide victory for Obama or any other Democratic candidate.
Yes, Obama is a politician and a human being, both aspects make him imperfect. I’m not one of those supporters who sees him as the “messiah”, those who do are just as off-base as the rednecks attending McCain/Palin rallies recently. The John McCain of 2000 or 2004 would have been more tolerable as a Republican President because he was more of a moderate then. However, to win this election McCain has sold his soul to the far-right of the Republican party, their party’s base. We don’t need a continuation of “compassionate conservatism” in this country, because look where we are now. And God forbid if something were to happen to McCain and Palin became our new President, this woman is too far to the right (and I believe she’s a bigot) and she associates with a militia group (that’s what AIP is basically) which hates the United States so much that they want to separate Alaska from the Union.
@ McCainSupporter:
To assume that most or all of the people who post on a “black blog site” spend more time listening to Puff Daddy than paying attention to the issues is rather ignorant on your part.
And you may want to do some fact-checking of your own on Obama’s record rather than taking everything that McCain and his surrogates say at face value. But the McCain campaign has done A LOT of distorting of Obama’s record, so it’s not surprising. The tired line about Obama voting 94% of the time to raise taxes on the middle class has been refuted over and over, and yet Republicans continue to make this claim.
FACTS: Twenty-three of Obama’s votes on taxes were for measures that would have produced no tax increase at all; they were against proposed tax cuts.
Seven of the votes were in favor of measures that would have lowered taxes for many, while raising them on a relative few, either corporations or affluent individuals.
Eleven votes the GOP is counting would have increased taxes on those making more than $1 million a year – in order to fund programs such as Head Start and school nutrition programs, or veterans’ health care. The majority of the 94 votes – 53 of them, including some mentioned above – were on budget measures, not tax bills, and would not have resulted in any tax change. Four other votes were non-binding motions related to conference report negotiations.
http://www.factcheck.org/...8/tax_tally_trickery.html
FACTS: Obama on small business taxes-McCain has repeatedly claimed that Obama would raise tax rates for 23 million small-business owners. It’s a false and preposterously inflated figure.
It was found that the overwhelming majority of those small-business owners would see no increase, because they earn too little to be affected. Obama’s tax proposal would raise rates only on couples making more than $250,000 or singles earning more than $200,000.

Source: FactCheck.org (before you claim that this site is “partisan” or biased, they have listed claims from both Obama and Biden about McCain that were found to be exaggerations of the truth.)
@ mypov
thanks for the information about nothing!! like every Dem. u still could not awnser the simple question about Obama having No Experience AT ALL!!! or his Redic. Ties to Bill Ayers . Rev Wright & Acorn and yes Acorn had helped poor people get subprime mortgages by pressuring fanny mae into giving into loaning money to ppl that could never afford it come on!! McCain Has Forgotten more then Obama Has every Learned about Politics and Foreign Policies!! Nd McCain served this country for more than 10 years for ur right to have an opinion!! and yes ppl like Puff Daddy makin insaine comments about there are no black ppl in alaska how could Palin help our ppl that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard!!! and hes doing everything in his power to tryin get ppl to vote for Obama!!! Nd Obama On the Source Magazine Cover? what does that have to do with anything Politicaly that is a Hip Hop mag. why does Obama Belong on that Cover? there is alot to question about both sides but the only thing Obama Can Say is McCain would Be like having Bush again for the next 4 years Thats a redic comment too!! Instead Of Obama Admitin to everyone that he did start his political career in a Terrorists living room!! (bill ayers) and He Donated Millions To Acorn And Y He Was Putin in Charge Of 50 million dollars from bill ayers to doal out to schools to help radicalize the way that think!!! and how he was part of Rev Wrights Church and so on whats up wit awnserin some of those questions? Obamas got alotta bad ties in his past and McCain Has nothing but Good!!!
LOOKS LIKE SHE WAS NT TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT TROOPERGATE!
LOL I love how you jumped over the FACTS that I posted on Obama’s voting record LOL, typical Republican spin. You should work for Fox “Faux” News, they love people like you. You should also take a writing course because your post is just a bunch of rants piled into one huge paragraph.
Experience is important, that’s a fair argument. However, George Bush Jr. had “experience” too, where did that get us? By the way, what did Bush do as Governor of Texas that was so great? You know what the answer to that question is?? NOTHING! George Bush was a flunky used by the Republican party to get Republicans back in the White House after Democrats were in control for eight years thanks to Bill Clinton. Dick Cheney Inc. ran the country in reality, and they used Bush because they knew they could convince him to do whatever they wanted, including start a war in Iraq (Cheney = Halliburton, you’ve heard of Halliburton, right?? How much do you think they’ve made off of the Iraq War?? What about the other companies with contracts to work in Iraq, how many millions have they made?)
The Republicans are trying to use minorities and poor people as a scapegoat for why the market is bad, it’s just another way to divide the people of this country and to further their cause.
And what is your preoccupation with “Puff Daddy”? You’re assuming that all Black people take his opinion seriously, but again that just shows how ignorant and uninformed you are. I never cared for his music, and I certainly don’t go out of my way to hear his opinions on politics and world affairs. Try not to make a habit of ASSuming things about people. Source Magazine and Vibe Magazine are magazines targeted to young people, there is nothing wrong with reaching young people who are eligible to vote and motivating them to care about the future of this country. What are you scared of, that young Blacks and Latinos will come out in droves to support Obama in November, that certainly wouldn’t help your candidates John McCain and Sarah Palin, right?? LOL.
You don’t want to go there with me about Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers. As a Professor at the University of Chicago Bill Ayers worked with DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS on the Annenberg education project in Chicago. In fact, it was a Republican, Walter Annenberg (a lifelong Republican and former ambassador appointed by Reagan and Nixon) who funded the program to reform urban education in many cities in the mid 1990s. Annenberg sought Ayers to be involved in the project, even after knowing about his past, does that make Annenberg a terrorist or a terrorist sympathizer? Does that make the Republicans who worked with Obama and Ayers on the project terrorists, too?? Or is it Obama’s skin color and middle name that makes him seem like the only one who would be a “terrorist sympathizer” and therefore want to work with someone like Bill Ayers?
I respect Sen McCain’s service to his country, and I admire his courage and strength in enduring a horrendous experience as a POW. HOWEVER, his policies are wrong for this country and that it is why I support Sen. Barack Obama. We don’t need a continuation of George Bush, and that is what John McCain will provide.
Rev. Jeremiah Wright (being the “ant-American” person that he is) served his country as a Marine. He left college in Virginia and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and became part of the 2nd Marine Division attaining the rank of private first class. In 1963, after two years of service, Wright joined the United States Navy and entered the Corpsman School at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center. Wright was then trained as a cardiopulmonary technician at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Wright was assigned as part of the medical team charged with care of President Lyndon B. Johnson (see photo of Wright caring for Johnson after his 1966 surgery). Before leaving the position in 1967, the White House Physician, Vice Admiral Burkley, personally wrote Wright a letter of thanks on behalf of the United States President. Wright loved his country enough to serve in the Marines and Navy, how many years did George Bush or Dick Cheney spend serving their country in such a capacity? The answer is zero.
Don’t hate mclame/palin congratulate…Let’s say Obama ’08′
@ MYPOV
Great comments! I’m going to add to your comment about to help out with people who use “NO Experience” as an excuse for Obama. You were on point about Bush with all his “experience”
Most of us got our jobs without having any experience. We got the job because of our determination and drive. Parts of this nation was built on great ideas, determination and drive, not experience. So you can continue to use that as an excuse if you want, but I will still vote for Obama, not because of his skin color or his education but his determination and drive.
I don’t know of any black man that would risk his life and be blatantly disrespected to bring together a divided country. Most black folks can’t withstand what he has been through. That right there is is clearly out of the norm.
You may not believe he will change anything, but in my eyes he already has. There are folks out there who registered to vote who have never voted before in there lives! That’s change right there. But do you.
i hope you guys aren’t voting for obama because he’s black. there are some real issue that need to be address that he hasn’t like education. his website gives alot of run around but does not give an exact plan.please people look beyond the color and focus on the real issues.
My comment is for McCain Supporter #67 & 69 comments, you said McCain was a POW for 5 years and he protected our country so we could live happily today.
1. McCain is not the only person in this world who has fought for our country, and somehow people view his military history as being qualified to lead. I thank him for fighting for our country, but that isn’t enough to be president.
2. You said Sarah Palin is qualified to be president, that is a scary statement. There is no way she is qualified, that girl can’t even name a court case besides roe vs. wade. She could of said the miranda rights case everyone knows that one, its the little things that show a person character. She has been showing me how ignorant she is. I watched the v.p. debate she made me sick. She performed and followed her script so well. The only time she went above and beyond in answer was when the topic was focused on energy. Joe Biden gave you detailed answer you couldn’t of asked for anything else.
3. Lastly you say he protected the country so we could live happily today, how many happy I mean really happy people do you know. I see people struggling right now, cutting back on spending because of our economy right now. Look in the Parade magazine all this b.s. about Obama raising taxes and the middle class suffers, this should shut McCain/Palin traps up. It shows in a McCain and Obama presidency who saves money on taxes
